This is a rigged question. Obviously, for a generic start the best start would need a reasonable production and a reasonable grain supply so a 3 / 3 / 2 seems best. But, I tend to like my first city to be a town and a money maker, so I prefer a higher grain. I went with a 4 / 2 / 2, although I am extremely tempted by the 5 / 2 / 1 start.

Your pumpkin should be fine for halloween. You need to keep it in a cool dry place. The biggest problems you will encounter are molding and dryout of the pumpkin. Do not carve the pumpkin until it is closer to halloween otherwise it won't last that long.
Under the tool tip for the build menu for the scrying pool it says Essence per season +1 To me this says that I should gain +1 essence every season. I think it should say Essence to city +1 or Essence +1
I just fought some butchermen and had regeneration cast on my sovereign. The butcherman attacked me and "killed" me, but I regenerated back 1 health and so I was alive. I do not know what you are going to consider the bug here, but I consider not being dead and the butcherman gets an extra person a bug.
Perusing through the Hiergamenon, I noticed the following little cosmetic issues that should be addressed. Summary: Game Concepts / Magic - Global Mana has a picture missing. Equipment / Dragons Breath has a picture missing. Monsters / Mercenary has a duplicate entry. Asthetics: Many of the pictures are not in the same style. It would be better, and more polished, if each of th
When you pass you automatically defend (the shield icon above the head of the unit).
I've answered my own questions: If you make a faction, the metal color changes the metal for the entire faction. If you just a sovereign, the metal color only changes the weapons the sovereign holds. I do like that effect, but I hope that the manual or a tool-tip will tell people that changes to the metal color on the sovereign only effect the sovereign. Maybe have this written on one of those spiffy load screens with tips about the game. This do
I created roughly 12 custom designs and restarted a game (like I did in my headless post) and it produced the same result to which you see. I don't know if you are restarting a game after you load a game or played a game, but this seems to be what causes this headless animation for me. Also, you should post this in FE Support. Maybe you should check your units sub-folder for fallen enchantress under your documents and see how full it is.
I don't think a reinstall deletes the folders in your documents, where all your custom units are stored. For example this headless problem only occured when I restared a game after loading one. (From which I learned is a big no-no right now as they are not clearing stuff when you quit a game yet). When this happens does it happen after a reload or something like this? You should also check to see what custom units are in your folders as I think a problem m
Did I hear you correctly frogboy. Beta 5 this week... I'm excited to see all the tweaks that you've been working on behind the scenes. As to the original post I would like to see a playthrough like that. I'm never good enough to try insane on anything. Also your links are broken Tuidjy.
The screenshots look great Frogboy and I did notice the improvements from the original screens. I think that this is a great improvement that people may not notice, but will think this game is well polished. Great job guys!
I love the abililty to customize the sovereign and the color choices for all the items. But I am curious about the metal color. I noticed that it does change the color of the metal pieces on most of the weapons (namely I notice no color difference on the short sword). Also, is this supposed to be a global metal color for your sovereign's faction, or just your sovereigns weapons? Also, is there a reason why the metal on all weapons do not follow this color scheme?
I do not know what queue to which you refer. I do suggest that you check your e-mail for a receipt of the purchase. I assume that you purchased this game with a credit card, and you should check there to see if a transaction actually took place. If you have been charged and you have a receipt but have no game in the download section there, then send stardock support an e-mail telling them directly the situation. They should resolve you issue relatively quickly.
The glitch here is that the river with this waterfall should end at the cliffs to the ocean. So basically the game is not making the river go to the cliffs and then placing the waterfall.
seanw3 has the right of it. The problem is that regen is not overpowered it is a problem of tactical regen vs. strategic regen. There should be more regeneration per season and less for tactical battle. Another alternative to this is that regeneration is only a strategic spell so that you heal quickly on the strategic map, but not in the tactical battles (although I don't think people will like this option very much).
I don't quite understand what you are getting at, but there is a setting in the options, under display
Just when I thought I had a great game in the making you go and make it even better. Great surprise!
Glad I could help.
I know several people on the forums that play with XP. This post should be in FE Support forums. Also, you should post your debug.err file next time you play and it crashes. This gives the devs quite a bit of information about your computer and what the program was doing the moment it crashed. Also, in the \program data\ area of your computer there should be a .zip file that you should post or e-mail as well to support. See <a href="https://forums.elementalgame.com/41530
This was in the thread High Priorty Bug Fixes
Try this: Run the game from a command line with this parameter: c:/>fallenenchantress /nomultisample Let me know if that works.
Hope that helps.
Ahh, so that is what the OP is refering. It may be nice to see this in the world creation section. I feel they have so MANY good ideas floating around that people want options to tweak that they just need a button called advanced options that include all of these suggestions that people are making. Oh I didn't disagree with the OP, I didn't quite understand what functionality to the game to which he was refering.
In quest making would it be possible to raise an entire section of land. I've an idea to have a quest that raises an ancient city swallowed by the water and ruled by a water titan, basically a new wild-land, that you need to raise from the depths of the ocean. Would this be possible within the modding tools within the game? Could somebody make a wild-land and the quests involved? I see all these tools here and I'm getting more excited to get my hands on s
Air and Fire: Steam Elemental Water and Earth: Mud Elemental Fire and Earth: Volcanic Elemental Air and Earth: Debris Elemental
I like... if they don't put it in there I'm sure this will be in somebody's mod.
Isn't this an option in world creation as in choosing what type of map. For example a desert type map will not have as many fertle areas as with a temperate map. Similar to the density of resources on the map. The fertile land inevitably is near resources and so if you put this on sparse with desert setting, this should make a map with relatively few cities in it. Unless I'm missing something with the map creation, which I could be.
I do like both aspects. I've been playing of late with a hardcore set of rules. If a champ or sovereign falls in combat, I lose the champ and I resign the game if its the sovereign. But if they fall in combat, but the army still lives, the units survives wounded and I still play on as normal. I wouldn't mind seeing this option available, but it's something that is not high-priority on my list. As to the AI, I don't know if this would weaken them too much as they
