Okay, can do. Per one of the other posts, I tried to re-research Higgs Disruption to see if that'd re-enable the missing designs, but it didn't. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12nZYqFGCFT050ziZL1E0NPAn2eSZK1cZ/view?usp=sharing Please let me know if you're unable to access the file or need it submitted to a different site. I've just been hit with this issue in a very long game where half of my latest designs are no longer showing up. Do you still want save files for this issue?
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IvZjqf6aQtzxXyo_BTUelD8-Od6oUgHm?usp=sharing Hope that works. If not, please let me know. Thank you!

I've also had the Overlord ships not appear, which was particularly annoying since I'd been sandbagging charges until I needed 'em & not having them when needed was an in-game issue (I managed to survive, but a lotta lotta colonists didn't...) Regarding a save game file: it's also in the same game file as my other issue (with the game freezing).
Awww... crud. S'kay, thank you for the info! Yeah, I went through & clear-cut all the stock designs (obsoleted 'em) in order to have my own schema. Sigh...
Certainly! I made sure to save off a copy of it just in case. Do you want me to attach it or is there some other, preferred method to get the file to you? Thank you!
Free ships, such as the 3 colony ships from Fairness or the Overlord ship from the nanite artifact, do not show up in my games since the previous update. Only the 3 mining ships from the tech research appear. This can be somewhat crippling for early games. Thank you!
I have this same situation. Am at 46G consumed already & nothing happening on the game-side. I did disable the "All Fleet Paths" prior to this last restart but same situation: get about 3 treasure hunter notifications then nothing. Would it also be possible to get the treasure hunter notifications collapsed into the event log or something? I wind up having to click through a lot of them late-game on these massive maps. Thank you! (47G in the amount of time it took
That had occurred to me while at work. Tweaked in the new bits of the files into my mod code & it worked. My apologies!
I've gone through all the t-shooting steps, including a full reinstall. If I include the Snathi as an opponent, the game CTD partway through map creation. If I remove them, game runs just fine (i.e., vanilla, with mods, without mods, different map sizes & options, etc.) I need to check to see if any log files were created & if so, can upload them.
The filter glitch also occurs with the starbase list.
I was bad & didn't search the forums for previous posts - just wanted to get it down 'cuz it was really annoying me... :)
1) A couple times the strategic resource bar would get jumbled up on the left-side of the top-row when more than 7 items were listed, be they strategic resources or relics. It cleared up on my last reload last night, so maybe that's been fixed? 2) The Goto command list for ships is still quirky: it won't allow me to re-select a filter option (e.g,. planets, waypoint, etc.) if it had already been selected with a previous ship. I have to select a different filter and then can go
I've had the Iconians do this to me several times now (one reason why my auto-save is every other turn, so I can reload prior to such things): they gift me a specialized tech - which, while nice of them, is *not* one that I wanted & now I'm stuck with it. Can there be an option to refuse the gift or some other mechanism to deal with this? I'm "fine" with the lock-in on specializations (I'd prefer them to be gone, but get it from a balance-perspective & makes me conside
I have the same issue (in case it helps to know it's more than 2 people... :) )
Happened twice now & in both cases, while the application is responsive (e.g., can move around the map, etc.), the game itself isn't since it's hung up on the resolving the combat & is waiting for a mass driver shot that missed or something & is cruising clear across the map. Which is "fun" on an insane map & the angle puts it clear across the map. I tracked this second one & it didn't stop at the edge of the map either & continued merrily on its way into t
First off, I'd like to know what exactly I might have done to you good folks to deserve having the Dark Yor camped right next to my homeworld on the very first map I start in beta 5! :) On a more serious note, I was just now wishing for the ability to set arbitrary navigational waypoints for my explorers to help them avoid stuff and such. Maybe ctrl-right-clicking to set a sequence of points that the ship will attempt to navigate to? Now back to see if I can save Earth fro
[quote who="BuckGodot" reply="26" id="3531425"] Missed this bit: Quoting Bamdorf, reply 24 " Fixed some performance and crashing issues in reference to hitting max graphical objects cap." Yeah, I think that one was my nemesis on immense maps. So, logically, first gam
I've been using carriers a lot. I know beams are over-powered right now, but I *love* the swarms of little fighter pummeling the crud outta the baddies - especially the Yor since they're always declaring war on me even if they've not met me. Anywho, I had several fleets on course to attack some Yor at the same time I was about to finish researching beam weapons. I wasn't paying much attention & hit auto-resolve on all the combats only to be horrified when I discove
Ship Design: Lights? Miss 'em from GC2. If so, could we have dynamic lights? Strobes, flashing, changing colors, etc. I've got a pretty robust system, so why not tax it? :D Decal: both for your civ (emblems & such) but also name-plates? I enjoy naming my ships & it'd be kewl to have their names on the hulls too! :) Biodome tech: another tech unlocked at the end-of-the-line for terraforming - outposts. These would
The incremental vs. one-fell-swoop upgrade doesn't seem to me to have to be a one-or-t'other option. I am ALWAYS turning off colonies' autobuild because - as noted in everyone's replies - new colonies will get killed if they try to build the best building first. GC2 tried to do that if I'd forget to turn off the autobuilld & it's annoyed me ever since. Currently, as my older colonies progress, I'll go through & re-enable the autobuild so I don't have to
I know some of these comments are duplicates from others; I'm only including them here for completeness of my thoughts. Hot keys: Please don't leave us keyboard-users out! Stuff like DEL to destroy planetary improvements & delete/obsolete ship designs; key cycling through colonies, stations, ships, etc. Resources tab: it's not very useful with just showing the number of resource nodes. Maybe include artifact harvesters & amoun
The thought occurred when one of my surveyor's crew member's head exploded after investigating an anomaly. I thought that it'd be a neat little featurette (or what-ever) if the surveyor's crew count would actually go down by one (and if it already does, my bad.) Then I thought, "What about weapons that target the crew only & leave the ships intact? Sort of like neutron bombs in space." It could lead to some interesting dynamics, especially if the weapons targeted o
Ah, okay, I misunderstood the message. Will do - first time I've had a bug/crash that someone else hasn't already reported.
