Sounds to me like you aren't willing to stand behind your product, which is clearly broken. It was released with a large number of bugs, many of which still aren't fixed. People still can't really reliably play 4v4s and 5v5s (evidenced by the fact that you only recently dared to make pantheon 3v3.) You promised you would get these bugs fixed and its been over a month. What do people get for trying to support you and stand by you while you attempt to fix things, they ge

Custom games are most certainly not bullet proof. Who have you been listening to? I usually see one person per game who can't connect to someone. We just kick them out of the game and replace them. Custom games just let you kick and try with someone else or a new host until it works.

Regulus with range upgrade can attack the towers down. Fire TB absolutely obliterates towers. When the wave of creeps moves in, go in with them and drop a ring of fire in the middle of the towers. You will fry bunch at a time. Then back up and wand the little bit of health they have left. If you keep killing his creep waves with ring of fire he can't really push your tower to structural transfer either. So he is stuck playing back and being attritioned ou

I would like to point out that in TF2 achievements worked at release, you could easily get into maps/games, and flat out its just plain a great game. Also TF2 sold in the orange box which was a freaking amazing deal. 70 is actually pretty generous for demigod. It still has connection issues, you have the gameplits floating around, when someone rage quits they can very easily take half the game with them, favor doesn't work, it has a lot of bugs that need to be ironed out.
One of our frustrations (and this is one of the reasons I’m not a fan of MP games in the first place) is how inconsiderate some people are. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out why people were getting “disconnected” right when a game starts. Well, it turns out, from looking at the logs, is that some people, having only 2 on 2 or 3 vs. 3 where an AI player had to be substituted to fill in the gap that some people just quit right

One way would be to actually have a free "core-beta" going with applications filtering people with previous alpha testing/balancing and tournament play experience. Then get those people on a private forum posting feedback and balancing proposals.
I thought they tried th

Some things the game really needs: -Blind selection in custom games, you can't see what demigods the other team is picking. -More standardized settings. There should be a number of simple pre-sets that can be easily seen from the lobby. Thus the default setting can become "standard" with options limited to favor on or favor off. Then games where you change settings are labeled "custom." Additional game styles can be added as they are found to be good.</

Now the plate visor is pretty good, isn't it?
No, not really. You only get an additional 1.4 mana/second out of plate visor and scaled helm. You are much better off saving that 600 for a better helm or spending it elsewhere. The plate visor is pretty bad overall. [quote who="Sythion" reply="1

There is a reason people hate rage quitters, they ruin games. When the game isn't going their way they quit. You say you wouldn't start a custom game if you didn't like the demigods on the other team. Most people would just kick if you were a known rage quitter. You leave your teammates down a man with a horrible AI sabotaging them and no chance to make a comeback. You should concede as a team or continue as a team. Yeah, sometimes stuff comes up and yo

The AI is pretty terrible, but making it give no gold or minimal gold/XP when it dies would help a ton. The reason the AI hurts is because it just feeds the other team. Concede should be a team option, no an indivdual player option. Quiting alone because you aren't winning is rage quitting. The whole team quiting is conceding. Just don't make everyone sit around for 30 seconds every time someone willingly leaves the game.
Only thing not considered is that +mana per sec items increase the effectiveness of +%mana per second items. For instance, if you already have a vlemish and 10 mana per second natural, then you have 26 mana per second total. A plenor would give you 70% of 26 mana per second, which is a little more than 18 mana per second. That actually means if you have both, the plenor is providing a bigger mana boost.
I do consider

A lot of people look to the demigods for Demigod's balance. However, far more imbalanced than the demigods are the items. Erebus was a bit too good, but all the demigods can be toppled and no demigod is completely useless. The balance is functional enough for the time being. The items on the other hand are severely out of whack. Some items are amazing while others exist only to fill space. The gaps between items are crazy. Yes, items have different st

Dead is dead, but it is preferable for some heroes to land the death blow if possible. For example, oak landing the death blow is of great benefit to everyone in the area. Regulus getting a little extra gold for finishing the guy off is good for the team too (a pumped regulus is can be quite strong.)

Something needs to be done, taking a skill should never hurt your team. Potions have a ton of potential to do just that. The poison potions should either heal teammates and only damage enemies, or show up with a warning for teammates. The potion being red or having a skull and crossbones over it would work.

Pantheon does not matter, neither does dominate or slaughter. You don't take into account broken/highly flawed game types when balancing. Patheon is hosed regardless of game balance and as such shouldn't be taken as a factor. Its a poorly designed PuG format.

Towers simply aren't overpowered. They are a good defensive tool and you see them all the time because rook really doesn't have much else. However, a fire torchbearer (ring of fire) or regulus with a range boost can stuff the rooks towering efforts pretty hard. He needs time to get his towers up too. Just don't push those towers right off the bat. Towers are strongest early game, but get progressively weaker as time passes.

Then this isn't a problem with teleport. It would be a problem with crucible. What if they just swapped the portal and citadel locations? Should be a quick and dirty solution. Now when he hops the gap he goes into citadel defenses and has to move a pretty significant distance in and out to pull the same stunt.

The original poster is correct Ashkandor is overpowered, it just isn't a factor in most games. It should be an easy fix though, just cut the crit down to x2. You still have +25% attack speed, +180 damage, and +12% lifesteal. Top 3 broken items are most likely Askhandor, Heart of Life, and Bracelet of Rage. A x4 crit is really just obscene and backbreaking. A full 1k off in a hit will pretty much end a fight.

It has always been a dumb mechanic. +Speed is very, very powerful so boots of speed end up a mandatory item and swift anklet has always been one of the best favor items. I think it should be changed so +speed items no longer stack and you only get the best +speed bonus. This would allow them to rebalance the boots and put +speed on a few more of them, balancing them much better. Right now most of the boots are total crap. It would also make the swift anklet a

There is currently no outlet for the competitive players. This is a team game so the lack of team oriented match-making hurts a lot. When tournies, scrim channels, and going into patheon/skirmish as a team pop-up you will start to see better players gather.
