This has been suggested a few times and I'm definitely in favor of it.

I expect once the major issues are sorted the updates need not be daily, but please do continue updating us regularly. It would be great to allow the community to mull over additions to the game before you guys expend the resources adding them. I do fear the flame wars will be epic once we get to adding features, items, DG's, etc... but I'm ready to battle for the good ideas! [e digicons][/e]
Foul Grasp not triggering stun immunitiy is intentional.
Even the most expensive favor item is priced so low as to be easily obtainable. There is no grind for favor items in Demigod. Right now the only problem I see is the favor bug (which has me bad) messing people up. I've been stuck with negative favor all week, I have 1 favor item, swift anklet, and I am at equal footing with it against anyone. Tomorrow the patch fixes the favor bug and we can all unlock the whole set with very little play time invested.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 11 Based on the logs, nearly everyone plays pantheon and skirmish games online, not custom games. I can't tell you why that is though. That's because custom games gives an unfair advantage to players. People can have an arrange team in custom games. Also you don't know what level of skill the other players are. So most of the time, you are dominating or getting
go back to DoTA
Why this worthless comment? This game needs modding to, as the op put it, unlock the games true potential. Back in beta, we had some good UI mods already before they disabled them from going online.
This is usually a sign of people playing to make their demigods as powerfull as possible instead of playing to win. Stop spending money on 5 artifacts and get Catapultosaurs from the citadel instead, after that you just have to walk along your reinforcements and you should have won within 10 minutes after that.
Exactly. I occasionaly get games that go into the 40 minutes, but usually its over in the 20s.
Arranged Teams only vs Arranged Teams and Randoms only vs Randoms, just like in WC3 whats the problem @_@
That works for me.
No, you know what, I like the Pantheon the way it is. If they want to add additional modes for what you guys are requesting, that's cool. But I don't see any reason scrap the current Pantheon system.
Wow. you guys are the only company that actually TAKES responsability for it's issues. Very refreshing. No wonder your customers are so loyal.
This is what makes me a fan, and what makes me so frustrated about the current situation and how SD/GPG have been slammed in the reviews. I can't imagine how much more agravating it must be for all the devs. Gamers who come in from t
This looks like an amazing game. I would really love to play it, but I'm not so sure about Impluse. If only they would release the game on Steam..... I know it's a competitor's platform and I'm sure they have some cool match making tools on Impluse, but think about the size of the Steam customer base. They would instantly sell more copies of the game. Give a few bucks to Valve in the process isn't shameful. (For a history lesson from one of S
Pretty sad, but this is exactly why I have avoided even trying Hamachi despite the good things I've heard about it. A good service, capable of letting you play when you have issues with a companies matchmaking system, but its infested with pirates.
I got mine yesterday, but I don't check my mail every day so it could have been there on the 14th or 15th as well. BTW, I think all game manuals should be written by the CEO, I especially enjoyed reading the troubleshooting section [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Why in the world would someone buy Demigod for a single player experience. Did you not read anything about the game first?
Won the hard tournament on my first play through, there was some challenge there, but nothing to bad. Once you learn the game AI opponents are easy.
Awesome. This "crack" must not be very wide spread. I haven't been able to find a seed of it at all. The few who do pop up with it will make great entertainment [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
What pirates? My cursory search of popular torrents yielded no hits for Demigod at all. So we have a few people who bought the game early, that's all. Most of you who haven't gotten in will be playing tonight, tomorrow by the latest. I will never understand why people take a game so seriously they are about ready to /wrist over it.
I have a fever...
Some of the posters around here recently have been quite.. short sighted in all this. This is a good bit a news though, I hope it holds true as this could really open up other publishers eyes. You guys have done right by me though, thanks for making such a great game!
Yes, they would. I'm under the impression most of those who got it early from GS weren't in the beta so they are probably just getting their feet wet. You'll get the most useful feedback once the testers get into it on Monday in my opinion.
I'm selfish.
Why don't you just say what you mean and stop hiding behind your BS? It's. three. days. If you feel so screwed over your life priorities need a serious adjustment. And for God's sake who the hell expects something to happen on Easter weekend!?
Single player wasn't enabled in the beta, so until Monday none of us can comment on it as we haven't played it yet.
It's pathetic. Gamestop screws Stardock/GPG and we have preordering beta testers canceling to screw them even more over a few days. Anybody canceling their preorder over a matter of 3 days is a poster child for narcissistic douchebaggery. I'll tell you what I'm doing about this. I'm taking myself off Gamestop's mailing list and blacklisting their stores if it turns out this was in any way intentional or malicious on their part.
I also experienced this.
Glad to have that cleared, it is both a feature and a bug :) I'm fine with playing outnumbered against real people as long as there is a ranking system placing the better player(s) on the right side.
