Yeah... I just looked at the date the 50% off coupon came out... wasn't that long ago. Somehow I got it in my head the 20% off coupon would come out a week after that... but really, not sure why I thought that. Regarding communication though - Brad has been great in the past, but I'm not seeing anything regarding this OR the 1.01 patch that is expected to come out today... so, I'm not sure what the status is... any chance of an update from someone at Stardock?

Well... if I remember right, the original 50% off coupons were a little late as well. My concern is that as frogboy has obviously rotated away from demigod (or let's just say it doesn't appear to be his number 1 priority anymore), that we might not get the 20% coupon... which is why I'd love to hear from an admin or frogboy letting us know an eta, etc. So... stardock, anybody? If you guys are ANYTHING like steam, that 20% off coupon would probably generate quite a bit

So, I got my 50% off coupon for another copy of Demigod. I used it to buy one of my buddies a copy of the game. He can't play online with me. Then, I bought Galatic Civilizations 2 over the weekend. Great game. Great AI. Wish I had that 20% off coupon for that... and now, dare I say it, I'm interested in picking up Elemental early so I can see it evolve as the beta's are released... Any eta on when I can expect that 20% off coupon? I support s

But to be 100% clear, I've found that in most instances when I see all the other players drop at the same time, it means there is a problem with my connection. They are all most likely still connected to each other and just saw you drop from the game. That's probably the case if you find this happening frequently.
I gotta say as a single player gamer I've already bought my two copies. I mean sure, I don't go playing it every day but when my brother was home I got quite a few games in on the LAN...so maybe it'd be more correct to call me an 'offline' gamer. I get around 80k upload and download at the moment, so apparently that's not quite up to standards for this game. Ah well.
Just fyi - this game only requires 1 copy to play over lan legally.

read this http://www.portforward.com/help/pfprogression.htm 1st. Seriously - read it and make sure you understand it. It will make clear what static IP is. Consider google your best friend and me a distant cousin. Glad to help as much as I am able though.
Just a quick invite to those people posting about "only playing single player". Why? Once you learn the game and start playing online, you'd have even more fun with the game. Multiplayer is just way more enjoyable. You should try it. Get online, be nice, host/join "noob" games ... and off you go. Making "buddys" and have more fun. Join in. (unless of course, you have a crappy interwebz con

hmmm... so your setup is a westell modem with port forwarding AND a router with port forwarding? Ugh. If that's the case, can you change your setup for a moment, remove your router from the mix, and connect directly to your modem. I found this http://www.voip.com/help/Residential/Installation/Networking/westell_port_fwd.aspx and it seems to contain some basic info (i

I was talking on the demigod IRC channel. IF the patch goes live today, it doesn't sound like it will anytime soon. So, that leaves a late night release or having to wait until Monday (as frogboy indicated there won't be a Friday release). Crossing my fingers for late tonight, but I'm guessing we might see some erring on the side of caution here. For some reason, I don't think the pubs really want to have to work a bunch of overtime this weekend if things crap out

use need to use impulse reactor. the path on my pc is C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\Bin\ImpulseReactorOptions.exe Updating this was the ONLY change I made at the time... and that seemed to resolve my problem... again... SEEMED Good luck! Reply to this again once your internet dies again or you go a few days w/o issue. I'm curious to see if this works for you.

I have same WRT54G v8 so we have very similar models... In impulse reactor, I have start port 6100 and end port 6200... in the router, I am forwarding 6073-6200 UDP to my static ip. See my settings for security below. I'm pretty sure i don't have things configed 100% correctly, but give it a go and see if your results are similar to mine. <td width="27" height
