Thanks frog. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but it's not clear that's the goal. I try to keep up on your posts, but I only know what you mention is being worked on and I didn't see that. Glad to hear it, though! frog, if you get a chance, would you look here http://forums.demigodthegame.com/355265 ?
3. Allowing > 2 v 2. This isn't as easy as one expects because you're going from 4 players to 6 players to get to 3 on 3 which, unfortunately, requires more bandwidth than a small % of users. During the beta, nobody had a connection worse than 256 kilobit upload. But it turns out there are still a sizeable # of users on ISDN and low speed DSL. To go above 2 v 2 we have to find a way to measure bandwidth.
Is there anything in the works to measure bandwidth?</s

Well... seeing as I apparently have lots of time to post while I wait for a disconnect, here we go. I'm at the load screen for pantheon. I get a hard crash... the new magical crash that doesn't leave any dialog boxes occurs (I posted on this in bugs with logs previously). Anyway, I now have the invalid login issue. Presumably, the game still thinks I'm logged in and is denying access when I try to login again. Stardock - can you ellaborate on what th

Hey - I didn't have precisely the same issue as you, but here are the settings I changed that resolved a connectivity issue for me. Not entirely sure this will be of any benefit to you, but it is something to try. What is your current network setup (eg do you have a cable modem connected to a router, etc)? If you have a router, what do you have? Taken from one of my other posts: <d
I'm curious...isn't this why we have friend lists? To play the game with pips that want to play, not just D-bags that want to douch for the sake of douchbaggin'! At the most, I can play 2v2 with my bandwidth which cab easily be filled with players on Friend list.
yeah, but that doesn't help with pantheon/skimish or even custom to some degree. I enjoy playing with my friends, but I also like playing against people at th

I also agree with Busdude... for me, if I'm playing with reasonably matched opponents and I get stuck with an AI on my team due to dropping, I'm more than likely going to lose. BUT - I think they play better in direct human v ai games. So, while that is nice, it would be great if I wasn't forced to conclude I will lose if I get an AI teammate against decents opponents.

Newb - you are awesome! hehe. I have to agree too. I just played another 2 human v 2 ai with my buddy and the ai did play better in this instance. I found things a little more challenging.

Hey - I set up a game with my friend (me as host). 2 human v 2 ai. I played in windows mode. I ran speedtest ( http://www.speedtest.net/ ) while playing to see the impact. He didn't really notice any lag during the download test. During the upload test, I pretty much choked the game out. We both stayed connected and the game became lag free once the test was over. It stands to reason that people using p2p or

Didnt you guys ever think of the fact that i may have been the ops own team mate that cause the high ping? its the most obvious reason since the lag stopped when he left?
It really

I'm pretty confident in the case I described above that this was done intentionally... I mean, how hard it is just start downloading some BTs? I'll give this a shot tonight briefly in a game with one of my buddies tonight. Being able to kick would be swell, but of course can cause some issues as well... in my case, that was a 1v1 game... not quite sure that I'd be able to kick then.

I think its a bit of a mixed bag. One of my buddies prefers to play against the computer when we get together. We typically play 2 v 3 hard + 1 normal and win 100% of the time. We played last night and actually lost even with me being pretty OP early on (map was crucible). So, it looks likes it a little better. I played a 1v1 hard ai game and saw the ai come in and crap one my portals near base very quickly, so I had to address that (map = cataract). That's

Here' s a post where I had a similar issue (demigod seems to kick me off the internet). http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352604 I was running Vista at the time. I no longer have this issue. I believe I was able to resolve it by re-configuring my router (WRT54Gv8) and reconfiguring impulse reactor. Then, the issue stopped completely. A few weeks after I upgraded to Win7 and still do not have the issue

I had this happen where I was crushing my opponent... he said gg, stayed in the game, and did something that caused painful amounts of lag for about 15 minutes. I'd imagine this would be pretty easy for most people to pull off if they wanted to try to ruin the experience.

I just took what you were saying the wrong way (which can happen when you say "op wanted to perform oral sex on Brad..."). But, reading sllllooowwly, yeah, I get your point. But, perhaps a bit a clarification for me if you don't mind. What is acceptable re: bumping a post? I'm totally fine with abiding by standards. I DO like the demigod community and don't really feel all that big a desire to be an ass. Re: emailing <a href="mailto:sal
