I installed the game yesterday (haven't played in a while) on my new desktop and all the planet are very blurry, even at the highest settings! I read someone else had the same problem on sinsofasolarempire.com website's forum, but no solutions was posted. I'm trying my luck here. Any ideas? Windows 7 64-Bit Radeon HD 4890 Catalyst 9.12

Hi Cybermage, I guess the difference between easy,normal and hard is how they build and manage their fleet (more ships, maybe they research more etc.), and how fast they conquer other planets. I'm pretty sure they don't get any kind of bonus. PS: Je suis du Québec aussi :CONGRAT:
Same thing happens to me. It does a 100% cpu utilization RAM: 2 GIG CPU: Intel Core Duo 1.83 Ghz Video card: Nvidia Geforce 7600 Go OS: XP Pro SP2
Yes, the minimum required is a Radeon 9600. You should have no problem. By the way, what are your others specs? Processor, memory?

Ok I'm not actually 100% sure if it's due to patch 1.02 but there you go: 1) My frame rate drop a lot when there's a notification on the top on the screen (i.e pirates are attacking etc.) I also lose a couple too when the info tab/diplomacy/criminal underground/research gets opened. 2) When I close my games, sometimes the process stays open, or it makes another process go up to 100% .I have to reboot to fix that. And it does not occur everytime. Please note that's the only game
