I shouldn't need to use a third party software to play a game that was released three weeks ago "finished".

Why not the inverse? If it's not working they return back our money?
The most accurated review I have seen so far. At least this isn't biased like the ones they have posted in the main page of the game.
Can we claim our money back based in this Stardock? I really feel screwed with this game. I bought Gal Civ 2 an was pretty happy with that game and the dedication that Stardock showed for that game, and I was confident you would maintain the same level of dedication with Demigod, but after the release I'm pretty dissappointed. Unfinished product with low content. This game doesn't worth the 40$ I paid for it.
Sad but true. They released an unfinished product. I preordered this game counting with Stardock's care for their games, but this game is obviously rushed. I have to spend 30-40 minutes just play a game with the hope of no lag and no desync. I'll continue playing DotA, I have much less trouble connecting to games with that mod . Maybe they can finish the game in 3-6 months, I'll check then.
Well, I have 0 idea about how on-line games work, but I play daily games like left4dead or CoD 4 in dedicated servers with great pings and very stable connections with higher number of players than Demigod, so I don't see why "this" game can't work in the same way.
I haven't been able to connect a single game since beta 2, before I barely managed to join a pair of games of which I got disconnected. Indeed it's the last pre-purchase I made from stardock to join a beta. Seriously if this game doesn't improve the connections before release like a 1000% or start using dedicated servers as it should be for an on-line focused game it's going to be a complete fiasco.
I feel sad reading this post, I was planning to get SoaSE with Entrenchment, I really thought impulse was better than Steam after the $ = € disaster, so I pre-ordered Demigod and started spending my money here instead there. Seems that I'll avoid impulse too.
