Hi, actually, at the time I was having trouble, I had already excluded it. Running WindowFX at all while running Unity 2018 or 2019 caused problems. I've moved on to 2020 and 2021 now for most projects. I'll give it a shot and report back in a couple of days.

Hey thanks. No worries. First world niche problems for sure. As long as Multiplicity has been around and as popular as Rainmeter is, I'm hoping I'm not the only one suffering from these issues... wait... does that make me a bad person? lol
That was: 100% something I already knew. 0% helpful. My hope is that someone else has had the same issue and found a fix. Thanks.
Any word?
So, after much testing, and even using a batch script to restart the service on both machines, I've identified the source of most of my input delay. Any time I have Rainmeter running, I experience massive input delay. As soon as I kill it, I have no noticeable input delay. I can even game on the secondary machine and rack up killstreaks without it running. This sucks pretty hard, considering Rainmeter is used by a vast number of people for monitoring their PC, weather, to dos
Any time WindowFX is enabled, Unity fails to render anything other than the standard menu line. I have no idea what could be interfering. Screenshot attached.
So, to avoid going into another long-problem post, the short and not-so-sweet of it is, I an aspiring game dev using Unity, and I love WindowFX. Unfortunately, it appears, I cannot have both. If anyone knows a workaround for this niche problem, please let me know.
My activity on Twitch recently is lacking, but I've been planning on being more active soon.
I'm pleased to report most of my issues are resolved AFAIK as of right now. @cwarr I can tell you right now, the cursor bug is seemingly impossible to solve, and the best possible solution I've found is to put the reset script found on this thread (thanks sdRohan) in an easy to access place. Typically my keyboard is still accessible, so I recommend using a hotkey tool of some kind to launch the script when the cursor g
I'm pleased to report your script was successful in restoring input speeds to nominal levels. I think the signature is a bit much though. I plan to plop this on my Stream Deck and potentially my Object Dock. Not sure why this script works better than manually resetting the service? Oh well. Thanks
Greetings. I've managed to solve at least SOME of my network issues by replacing one of my switches, and resetting the other. I also went through the trouble of resetting all of the network devices on both machines and then restricting them to wired networks. My network map is FiOS wall > FiOS router > Gigabit Switch > Wall > Gigabit Switch > PC However, I still experience all of these issues when I eliminate the switches, or one switch an
OK, so... after more troubleshooting, I still have the following issues. I cannot force the secondary to sleep, and stay asleep. PC instantly comes out of sleep mode. Once secondary PC wakes from sleep mode, Multiplicity "connects" but doesn't actually allow control. I have to kill the Multiplicity service and restart it on the Primary. When sending the Secondary to Sleep mode, the cursor becomes unavailable, and the
No third party firewall. Hard wired. I turned off the virtual pointer feature and it's better, but not great.
It's odd that I'm having so many issues currently. I'm getting odd input delay on the secondary now... For a while I was using my primary as a workstation and secondary as a gaming PC and had virtually no lag on the secondary. Then as soon as I go through the trouble of configuring everything so I can use WoL (which is still bugged) now I'm getting sluggish input delay issues, cursor lockout issues when forcing the secondary to sleep, etc. It's becoming more and mo
I am using CursorFX on the secondary.
Greetings. I still, have the issue with the beta linked above. Current issues I'm having are Cannot force PC to sleep without losing cursor. Cannot keep PC sleeping. Cannot WoL as long as Virtual Box is installed
OK So, I found another post with a user having WoL issues. I'm pleased to say that I learned the Virtualbox network adapter(s) interfere with WoL (with the exception of Magic Packets). After uninstalling Virtualbox entirely, I was able to WoL using Multiplicity. Unfortunately now I have to figure out how to make Virtualbox work with Multiplicity as well. If anyone has the how-to, please let me know. I know the whole spiel "take it up with Virtualbox suppor
So I've been trying to get Multiplicity tuned up for quite a while. I've been using the software off and on since about 2015. So I have two monster PCs side-by-side and I wanted to use a single mouse & keyboard. Fortunately, everything in that department works. Now I was hoping to enable WoL in Multiplicity so I could easily switch on the machine without having to bother with another set of peripherals. Unfortunately, after an entire day
Thanks, now I just have to put up with the ridiculous wait (it's been 3 days now, and it took over 2 weeks for my first response) to get the reply with my activation codes.... yay. (yak)
Thanks, after some deliberation and some confusion brought on by a unprecise support email i was left in a mystifying situation. Thanks for the help. rps: wilco
For the last month or so I've been banging my head against a wall trying to get my Object Desktop modules activated. I bought Object Desktop right off the website, and had the CD sent. Now I have the CD, and I've installed the suite and so far I've gotton help from support to activate Windowblinds 6. So far, that's the ONLY thing I've gotton help with, and I've been asking for over 3 weeks! I still have the rest of the modules that are NOT activated. In order to activate Windowblinds
Well that's the thing, I've probably talked to 5 different reps from stardock support, and billing, and have YET to get an answer. I'm getting very frustrated. The software should COME with instructions on how to activate each product. I saved the activation code sig6.bin file to every software directory in the object desktop 08 suite, and so far the only program that successfully activated is WindowBlinds. And thanks, it is pretty nasty here. The baddies like the summer time
I purchased Object Desktop 08 and so far, I've only been able to activate WindowBlinds 6. I'm using offline activation because I am in Iraq and have no way to go online. I've copied the appropriate code into a sig6.bin file which successfully activated WindowBlinds 6 but my other programs aren't responding to it.
