Truelaunchbar Portable version does work with Start 11 up to current 2.5.3 version . The standard version as you found does not work.

Hi Seems "Curtains" has "apply icon to style" set which overrides the Start Menu 11 setting for its own icon change . If removed function is back to normal !

Hello Sean The mobile version of Truelaunchbar is not "installed" but free running. On removal of it , inc startup folder entries in Windows 11 , the start menu icon on your program still changes back to the original. There is no other similar auto start process apart from Curtains

Hi I have Truelaunchbar mobile version , shortcuts icon , sitting away from the taskbar , but just above the start menu icon . I have now moved the shortcuts icon to furthest side away from start menu , but then new start icon stays on for 2 clicks and still disappears ! I only use one monitor display Perhaps a problem ?

Hi Im very disapponted that the start icon reset does not work . I have 1) updated from 0.55 version and 2) also separately uninstalled / reinstalled, ( and rebooted each time ) The update version did show the changed icon once after reboot , but it reverted back when first clicked ! Please advise , I have not checked other features as I stopped at this error ! Of course this is with the start menu fixed to the left.

Windows Start Menu 11 v 0.55 Hi Is the ability to change the start button icon ( not its position ) , a change on the cards for this version , as in properties of Start 10 ? The default Microsoft blue icon is a bit bland ! Cheers

Thanks I had seen the right click options , but did you not have this as part of your main menu before ? There have always been options from Windows 10 menu button itself , aside from Start 10 /11

Hi Am I slow .... I cannot see Start Menu 11 settings from the usual right click on taskbar icon , as in previous windows 10 etc . I can just see windows 11 general settings !

Hi I have been using Deskscapes for years and have today subscribed to Object Desktop. The version 11 beta has been installed by me with no problem from this source, but there seems to be no option to save the file to download later , but only to 1) directly install or 2) update version 10 if required.. As the sub is for 12 months , but the file is owned and updated for this period, should not the beta and subsequent full version be saveable ? I see

Hi I have been using Curtains since the first version and "right click / install" a new style does not work on local category etc , when 16 styles max are loaded in latest Windows 10 build 19042.662. Nothing happens. Is this my system error or a restriction ? Regards R.

Your right their should be no reason to install 3rd party encoders in Deskscape 10 However the fact is on my vanilla Windows 10 system 1903 v 18362.295 , MPeg 2 reliant deskscapes now regularly freeze with or without decoders ,inc Microsoft extension. All .dream , avi , .wmv etc examples work normally without decoding in Deskscapes 8.51 ! Why is that ?

Hi I noticed in one Deskscape 10 thread that K-Lite Codec pack 1509 is recommended for M-Peg acceleration. I have tried this and notice that some deskscapes that were reliant on M Peg2 will slow down and semi freeze as the above Codec pack does not seem to load up on Windows 10 reboot. Media player codec pack 4-5-4 however does not have this problem, although it is not popular with Kaspersky security Anyone found or aware of this ?
