K-Lite Codec pack used for Deskscapes 10 not reloading on bootup

Hi 

I noticed in one Deskscape 10 thread that K-Lite Codec pack 1509 is recommended for M-Peg acceleration.

I have tried this and notice that some deskscapes that were reliant on M Peg2 will slow down and semi freeze as the above Codec pack does not seem to load up on Windows 10 reboot.

Media player codec pack 4-5-4 however does not have this problem, although it is not popular with Kaspersky security

Anyone found or aware of this ?

Other than the free Win store mpeg decoder:

There really is no need for 3rd party decoders to be installed for most DS dreams.

You may also want to experiment with the other renderers in the DS settings menu:

Your right their should be no reason to install 3rd party encoders in Deskscape 10 

However the fact is on my vanilla Windows 10 system 1903 v 18362.295 ,  MPeg 2 reliant deskscapes  now regularly freeze with or without decoders ,inc Microsoft extension.

All .dream , avi , .wmv etc examples work normally without decoding in Deskscapes 8.51 !

Why is that ?
