Looks a bit like the issue that I had (shareware version of iconx and I've also downloaded the beta of Desktopx). I asked for any reg numbers to be sent to me, which gave me a link to download the enhanced version of Iconx, uninstalled what I had - then downloaded this. Updated via SDC - seems to work. Although there's no registration info in the about bit of IconX.

Installed initially via Stardock central, just re-requested serial numbers (in fact since it gave me a specific key for iconx over objectdesktop I tried that, although the key for objectdesktop should do, shouldn't it ?). Just unistalled and re-installed via the link in the updated serial email, doesn't seem to complain about not having a registered version (although the 'registered to' bit on the help menu within iconx is blank). Edit - just to add, if iconx is unloaded and then reloaded, it states that transitions are only available in the enchanced registered version (only get the message once). Should that be part of objectdesktop ?

Hi all, Just started playing around with Iconx - (installed as part of Objectdesktop), just wondering should I be able to enable animations with this version ? Sometimes (not always), I get a messagebox saying that 'transitions are not enabled in the shareware version', also something to the effect of saving stuff isn't enabled.
