I was purchasing an additional copy of Start 10. As I was checking out, Stardock offered an "upgrade'' to Object Desktop for a good price. I purchased the upgrade (which includes Start 10, Fences, WB, etc. After the transaction was completed I went to my purchased software download page in my Stardock account. To my surprise, Stardock did not add a new copy/subscription of Object Desktop to my account, but rather added a year to my existing Object Desktop subscription. Is it possible

Thanks for the comments / info. I already own Object Desktop plus two Start 10 product keys (in addition to the five Start 8 product keys). The extra product keys are / were for family and friends. Of course my family / friends all want Windows 10 installed. I guess my Start 8 product keys are obsolete. :(
Start 8 - I have several Start 8 activations / keys (5). They do not work on Start 10. Can or will Stardock convert those keys to Start 10 keys? When I upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on affected computers what is the best way to retain (install / activate) my Start 8 purchases on the Windows 10 computers? Thanks in advance
Thanks RnD, I uninstalled Decor8, but the lock screen won't change, and the options to do so are still greyed out. I guess the incompatibility with Windows 10 corrupted that setting somehow.

My purpose for the original post was to inform Stardock of my experience with ModernMix installed on Windows 10 "Preview", not to convey any type of impatience with a lack of compatibility at this early stage. Start8 and ModernMix are sold as a bundle. Start8 works fine with Windows 10 Preview. My mistake thinking they would both work with Windows 10 Preview.
This morning I installed ModernMix in Windows 10 Preview. I wanted to add Modern Apps to my desktop. When I click on a Modern App it opens, turns completely black, and then disappears (crashes). Once I uninstalled ModernMix the Modern Apps open as usual. I do like adding them to my desktop via ModernMix. Any suggestions? I know "Preview" equals buggy, but I thought Stardock would like to know this information.

Neil thanks for your quick response, sorry about the thread. I can start a new one if you prefer. I just reinstalled ModernMix and got the same result. I made a screenshot for you to see. The app (weather) is maximized (not windowed) and still no split option. When ModernMix is not installed the split option is there. I don't do this very often, so if you could tell me where to upload the screenshot so I can add it to my post I would appreciate it.
Windows 8.1 update 1 adds a new feature to metro apps. You can right click the app's icon (upper left corner when the app is open) and it will give you the option to split left or split right. When ModernMix is installed this opton is not available. Neil and or other team members could you please take a look at this problem too. Regards, Winstar4

Is there a way to turn it "off" once installed and appearing on the start screen? OR is the only way to take it off the start screen is to uninstall it?
