Island Dog, I just want to make sure of this, premium suites serial numbers are not recognized by Impulse, and therefore cannot be added to Impulse, is that correct?

With the ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series listing many Key Features, such as TeraScale Graphics Engine, Advanced Memory, and ATI CrossFireX technology, along with many others, which main feature do you feel sets the ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series apart from its competitors, and makes it the must have GPU?
Happy Birthday cplair!!!! I hope it was all that you wished for, and many happy returns :D
Wizard, I tried the solution found in the post you mentioned, which was uninstall, reboot, reinstall. That did not fix the problem. I also tried different resolutions which did not work either. I hope someone can offer a fix or solution. Thanks to Zubaz and you for your interest in helping me find a solution to this problem
I have installed WB from both SDC and Impulse, but I still cannot get it to work properly in Vista 64bit. I am posting a SS , it shows the problem much better than I can explain it. All helpful suggestions welcome. Thanks Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5.3 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 5.6 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.1 (build 92 x86 - Vista Edition) - 64 bit OS WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC <BR
My dx and dx widgets, and independent gadgets all ran nicely on vista BEFORE I installed sp1. After I installed it, NONE of them worked. So I uninstalled sp1, now all is well again with my dx, dx widgets, and independent gadgets. It appears that for now vista sp1 IS the culprit. I hope this get fixed soon.
ODP is definitely worth the FEW extra bucks. Buy it!
I was reading Draginol's fine preview of upcoming Stardock projects in which he stated - "A lot of the controversy comes from power users who actually aren't power users who really shouldn't be tweaking their computer in the first place." It made me curious as to what other's definition of a power user is. So use this post to give the community YOUR definition of a power user.
Lol, I know so little Duke261, so saying whether Paint.net is adequate or not should be left to the pro's. I just meant that when I use it, the online help files are adequate enough to answer what question I have about it at that moment.
Duke261 , have you tried the Paint.net help files online, they seem to be adequate, http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/index.html
In my humble opinion, Object Desktop IS a bang for the buck, and so is object Dock Plus, CursorFx and My Colors for that matter. I for one hope that Stardock does not pull out of the consumer market. The basic premise of Mitch's analogy "I feel my new car should come with tires and wheels" is flawed. Object Desktop DOES come with tires and wheels aka as FREE skins in the package, along with several programs included, not just one. Stardock also gives away master skins from time to time for curre
I love the stacks docklet, here is a screenie I did a few weeks ago using it, https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=21836&libid=13 https://www.wincustomize.com/zoom.aspx?skinid=21836&libid=13 As far as extracting the zip, it really does not matter where you extract it to, so long as you place the extracted file in the path(folder) that Mikewell said above. C:\ProgramFiles\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets I have ODP, and I also have to manually change the
Thanks to all of you for making this is great place to learn about skinning, and just to hang out. I realize your dedication and hard work make it all possible. :D
This year I bought Windowblinds, then Object Desktop, then ObjectDock Plus. I have enjoyed all three immensely. I have not tried skinning yet, but I did create 29 screenshots https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?acid=2847002 It was great fun doing them, as is being a part of this community. I hope to learn skinning next year. I wish for everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous, successful new year :)
I don't blog, I do write poetry, maybe I should create a poetry blog, then again I should copyright them 1st (smile). I concur with Nimbin, a good lively chat suits me better. However, some blogs are helpful as in jamespaulp's example. Also, a note to jamespaulp, posts like your dual boot post, along with forums like windowsbbs.com, have been invaluable help to me over the years. [quote] took notes and when I fixed everything, I posted the problem and resolution on my blog[/
I agree with warreni, my 2gb stick came with U3, I find it useful (has some nice free apps and features). However, I installed PortableApps a long time ago, and I love it. It has many nice free programs and a nice interface. Along with Xtraveller as mentioned by warreni above, PStart is another free non-U3 apps launcher that will launch PortableApps for you (on U3 enabled drives), I use them both. I have noticed that Xtraveller will autolaunch PortableApps when you launch Xtrav
I have a dual boot pc and it works great with both vista and xp, I love it! winstar4
I love the toolbar so far. I have it working in IE7 and Maxthon 1.6.2 just fine, but I cannot get it to work in Maxthon 2.0.3.4643. Any suggestions? Also I agree with whoever mentioned the WC logo not lookin all that nice. Any chance to get a glass version of the logo? Thanks for all who worked on this project, it is a nice addition. I am not big on toolbars, but this one I will keep and use. It is easy to configure and the radio works great. I am glad I can add my own stations too <img src="htt
Thanks Bichur, it was there under misc., strange it showed not installed there, even though it was. I guess I was opening it from other os (vista) while I had booted in xp, not sure. Nonetheless, I reinstalled into xp also, so all is good. Thanks for your help. winstar4
My Objectdock Plus does not show in Stardock Central, should it be showing there? Also I can't get the systray icon to show , even though Objectdock Plus boots as it should, and it shows in boot part of msconfig and in winpatrol startup programs list. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, winstar4
MontyXP and WebGizmos, thanks for all your input. It helps me understand ObjectDock Plus better. For what it is worth, below is a link to my ONLY (lol) creation so far. I posted it under screenshots. But hey, I just got this program, hopefully I can make more and get better at it too . WebGizmos, can you share a link(s) to some of those creations please? https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=
Wow, that was simple enough . Thanks for responding so quickly MontyXP. MontyXP is there a way to drag regular docks to different positions? I can drag tabbed docks, and I see how to change the position of a regular dock, i.e. distance from edge and so on, but I don't see a way to do simple dragging on regular docks, just tabbed ones. Thanks Again, winstar4
I have created 9 customized tabbed docks that I would like to backup. I can access them through my docks, and change them as needed. I spent a long time setting them up (custom icons, links, and so on), and I don't want to lose them. Please advise me as to how to back them up. I have looked for them in the primary ObjectDock Plus folder, but I dont see them there. I can only see them when I manage my docks. I see no backup option anywhere in the program. All help is appreciated.
