I have the same problem , its your firewall blocking it mate its acting like a code injection , your firewall flags it and stops it running

DOH..apologies , i did that thing that normally really annoys me when others do it............I didnt search the forums first turns out the service is used so you can group your taskbar icons in with Object Dock and as my firewall completely refuses to let me do this anyway (code injection) i couldnt use it even if i wanted to. I turned it off via the options in object dock central , job done <img
I am using object dock plus and i have an annoying problem. On startup my taskbar freezes , no response at all , ive tracked it down to a running process associated with object dock SDMCP.exe , now simply turning this process off sorts the problem and seems to have no negative effect on object dock. http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/sdmcp How do i stop this process from starting in the first place? I cant find it either in msconfig or in the microsoft serv
