Binary Fortress investigated this issue and said that the problem is with multiplicity. They said, "Multiplicity is constantly trying to add itself back to the Windows taskbar. I would recommend contacting Stardock support to let them know if this issue as they likely have a reason it's doing that, but it's not something that we can work around from our end." I would hope that this is not something you planned for this program to do because it is very annoying. As it appears

When I am using multiplicity in a multi-monitor setup and using displayfusion, I put the connection screen on one of the secondary monitors. When I do that, the multiplicity icon keeps "popping up" on the main monitor taskbar. It does it continuously, coming and going. There is an icon on the secondary monitor's taskbar. This action goes away if I exit out of displayfusion and starts up again if I start displayfusion back up. This behavior did not occur under mul
We do not typically discount brand new applications.
Except you do. If I was a new user buying Multiplicity, I could get the Beta 4 version on sale for $37.49, which is the same price as the upgrade price. It is right on your store page.

I am also experiencing crashes on Windows 7 x64. My NVidia drivers are the latest version. I have changed the prefs.ini file to match my desktop resolution but I can not get past creating the world before I crash. It seems there are a lot of files that can't be found on all of the above debug reports as well as the final entry: Debug Message: Error flipping back buffer to primary buffer. Debug Message: D3DERR_DEVICELOST Debug Message: Devi

Never mind...apparently the install was foobarred...I uninstalled the expansion, deleted the folder, and reinstalled it. It works now. Hello, I seem to be having a problem (I think). I can only start the game from the "GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe" file inside the Stardock game folder. When I rebooted the computer there was a startup called "Galactic Civilizations II Twilight of the Arnor Launcher" that opened this series of buttions on the side of my mon
