I solved my issue by going to Power Options in control panel and turning off Require a Password on Wake. That might not be the exact wording. If the option is grayed out there is a selection to enable grayed out items Good luck!

New Windows 10 install with latest updates. Starting/restarting computer is fine. Waking from sleep results in a black desktop, requiring reconfiguring Deskscapes 8.5. I have uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted and tried both the KLite and Shark codec packs. Deskscapes works perfectly in every case except when waking from sleep. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks in advance!
Set to 125%, that fixed it. Thanks! Still like 150% though for my old eyes. Any chance this will be changed to allow larger DPI?
I have upgraded to the Windows 8 version of Deskscapes. Unfortunately it only works with the included 'woman in the red blowing skirt' video. If I try to use any other video, even those saying Windows 8 ready, it simply opens another video over the skirt video, but only covers about two-thirds of the screen. In the upper left corner. Both videos are active. Thanks for any help!
