Thanks for your reply. I am one step past that, I have already unlocked the machine when this happens (although it is right after). So I get back to my desk after a break. I hover over primary screen (vista, not joined to domain) I enter password and hit enter. I hover over secondary, pretty cont+alt+back to unlock secondary, entery password and hit enter. After unlocking both the primary (Windows Vista) and secondary (windows xp) machines I noticed that on the primary machine the "windows key" action has fired. Meaning, that when you press Windows Key and they press the "d" key it will display the desktop. There are several of these key combinations I use all the time. one in paticular is Win+S for a screen capture into Microsoft One Note. So after unlocking I can simply press any one of the keys (like s) and it will appear like I have alreay
