One last question Moosetek Should I disable my onboard Mac Lan(Nvidia) too?

THE MOUSE PROBLEM IS GONE AFTER THE BIOS CHANGE!!! THAT WAS SUPER COOL!!! Some movies work and some are choppy the first movie works like a charm. I'm going to try different video card settings.
Cool stuff let me try, and I'll sheck back tommorrow same time. THANK YOU!!!
I figured it might be something. I checked it out on large and medium and it seemed to work better.
So whats the verdict Kyro?
Alright let's check out this new debug... I did two more tests. The abundant seems to be giving an abundance of Stars and planets. The rare seemed to give a common amount of stars and planets. I understand if this program is using some sort of Xor to randomize everything, and I'm getting wierd draws. As you can see I've been doing some at home testing to see if I'm insane or not. I've sent stardock the wrong debug so what I'm going to do is clear my debug file, and do two loads one with abundant stars, planets, and hab planets scattered on a 3x3 map. The other with rare everything.
My bad. Debug Message: Version v1.6 beta 1 Dark Avatar last updated on: Tue Apr 3 16:54:35 2007 Debug Message: Checking DX Version. I found a bug on the planet modifiers. I've tested it twice on the Tiny maps. I set up all rare options. It made all of the resources rare except Stars and Planets. I had a screen filled with both, and the planets had just as many hapitable as unhapitable. What really made it odd is that I was finding a ton of class 17 planets, and I found a class 20 planet which I've never seen before. Maybe it got switched backwards? I'm going to check the abundant options tommorrow. One other thing ha

Well except for China no one has been able to really considerably close their borders to anyone else. OF COURSE watch how hostile AI get's when your on their territory. Even when they can't kick your arse they get mad.
I hear you with funding other AI's war machines. That is a risky tactic. I've learned to only do it when I'm about to get crushed and I need galactic chaos.
Yeah Wargazmo your beating the game on crippling thats not bad either fella. I play those levels all the time, but I lose them. I'm playing my games on Challenging, and if I feel saucy maybe I'll dip it into a container of tough.
This game has so many things for different people that people want to optimize. They really in essence did a good job or we wouldn't be thinking. Keep posting, and try suggestions box they take those seriously. Though if you want to convince them that you beat the game on suicidal like it's a cakewalk you should get a metaverse ID and score badges to prove it. That will add some BEEF to your suggestion.
I play them a lot lot, but their alignment is goofy. I just consider them Mafia or something, because they would have to be.
When you set them up to not complain about the game. They complain about the thread, and then try and complain that complaints shouldn't be looked down upon. Your thread is actually stupid bud. I imagine your right Tetra I too see more constructive talking, but it bugs me because a lot of programmers work hard for these people and all some of them can post about is "PIRATES=BORING". Ok go watch Law & Order then. I mean c'mon. I guess my biggest complaint is people complaining about a good
My favorite Civ4 building is the The Great Wall of Aztecia. With the chinese looking Aztec buildings it looks great.
If this game is so lousy how come you spend all day posting complaints about it? I would think you would go to a game you like better and post there. Is it because in Civ4 you have caveman American's with Goerge Washington living in a cave palace? Or, is it because every character in Civ4 looks like each other (excuse me except for the one special one). Or kick-butt AI in Civ4 that needs 2gigs of memory not to diarrhea all over huge maps. At any rate I'm sure I'll get a plether of good reas
Suicidal? That's incredible, you won 2 suicidal victories in 2 days.
The reason I started playing GC2 is because I never once saw Firaxis address any issues.
Ask Brad, but I do think it would be tough to program in. Yea it cuts down on diplomacy and various options considerably, but an option other than "destroy the wave of colony ships and start a war" would be really nice There is a lot more to this game then war. You can set up tons more scenarios then Civ4. That game is too buggy. They don't take suggestions, and implement them. In fact I haven't EVER seen a programmer from Firaxis respond
Depends if the Korx can dance and has a good personality.
Thalan's are definitly not a type of alien that I would want to have a one night fling with. Thats for sure.
The developers actually thought about that, but because of the different methods of harvesting resources they couldn't do it without it being a real wierd issue. In fact open/closed borders would gut a lot of spice from this game. See in civilizations the resources you harvest become part of your cities. In gc2 the resources are just basically everywhere, and you race to get them in the beginning of the game. If they are within range. Now a players space grows exponentially in the beginning
