I hated Norton for many many years because of the system resource hog that it became. I tried it again in 2009 after reading great reviews about it. It is so much cleaner than before and now I tell people that is the best out there now. I work in the IT field and can't stand McAfee, now that is bloatware 101. Per your original post, Stardock doesn't add any crapware. Once I added an SSD to my computer last year as the boot HDD, it boots into Windows 7 64bit w

Hi, I too have a dual monitor but, they are for a desktop. I have found that if you disconnect and reconnect monitors it seems to confuse fences. My only solution was to take frequent 'Snapshots' of it through the fences program. I am at lunch at work so I am not sure where it is at the moment. If you right click on an empty spot on the desktop, you should be able to choose 'con
RightClick will not be updated. It has been discontinued (e-mail below). It is SAD to see this happen to a product I liked so much. Oh well!!! I really wish they would put this information on their RightClick web page. I also would like a page listing or a chart of all the products and their OS comapatibilities with current statuses such
I brought this to their attention in early 2007 when I installed Vista Ultimate 64bit. It was never fixed and it never will be. I just got another e-mail from them saying that it is being discontinued. I am now on Windows 7 64bit but, haven't tried it yet. From: <div class="sw"
Hello, I just renewed for another year and had some time to get back to the forums. I'm glad to hear it. I reported it about a year or so ago and you couldn't replicate it then, but at least you now see what I am refering to. I look forward to the fix. Thank you very much. Rob
Hi, I would like to know too. I have been waiting for about 2 years for the 64bit version to come out. Originally when this program and other programs and software packages didn't work well on the 64bit version, I decided to switch back to the 32bit version. I recently decided to change back to the 64bit version since most companies have now had time to catch up with their software. Please see if you guys can get this working correctly on a 64bit version of Vis
I went back to 32-bit Vista Ultimate many months ago because of issues like that with many things. I did notice however that RC would work if I right clicked twice on the desktop, but then the Windows menu and RC would both be up and running.
According to the site, they do. Other people in the post gave opinions about the sound and how to mute or increase the volume for those dreams. Shouldn't it be in the mixer regardless any way? Thank you.
Hello, Has anyone been able to get RC to work on Ultimate x64? I have it installed, rebooted, it runs in task manager but, it doesn't work. I tried the 'virtualization?' enabled/disabled in task manager. I tried to run it in compatibility mode. I looked for exceptions in Defender. I made sure I, the administrator, had 'full access' to the Stardock and Right Click folders. Nothing seems to work. I also downloaded the latest version which came out several days ago. Please help. I l
Hello... anyone, anyone.... 64bit Ulitmate if that helps.
Hello, I downloaded several of the dream files and they run beautifully visually but, the sound on them doesn't play. The files are the ones with the sounds since I wanted to see how and if it worked. An example is island paradise(which I don't really care for). Any way, I found one suggestion to right click my volume icon -> sound mixer -> then adjust the volume for dreamscenes. The only problem is that dreamscenes isn't in the list of items. I only have high def and speakers in the
^ Thanks. Holding down both buttons worked. The crazy way things work sometimes.
Hi, That is how I have mine setup on my WinXp system. All of it works on XP and I can hide the taskbar. I just finished installing my Vista 64-bit and the software I wanted on it. I will be configuring OD+ this weekend to the same way as my XP machine. I'll let you know what happens or if I can get it to work the same way. Sorry that I can't be of any more help at the moment. I am assuming that since you are having this issue, you have the 64-bit Vista edition.
Hello, Thank you for that information. I at least have a slightly better work around now. I changed the font to Monotype Corsiva. Since the default size is 13 and can't be changed I opted to change the font to one where the 13 size looks smaller so I could increase the icon size to 40pixels. I now can see more of the letters in the name. I can only abbreviate the names so much. I do have a request though pertaining to the icons : I would like to be able to change the size a
Hello, I have the same issue. I wish I was able to change the font of the icon names in the tabbed dock because of the shadow effect and the elipses. I did as you suggested and installed the newest version 1.90.026 through SDC. I did have to uncheck the 'Show pre-release version' in the lower left corner of the SDC window for SDC to see this particular update. I now have the newest version and that hasn't changed anything even after closing/opening SD+ or rebooting. One other thing I
Hello, I have the same issue. The icon names show the first 5-6 letters followed by dots. There isn't any way to expand the names or make them wrap to another line. Expanding the size of the 'drawer' does nothing for the naming. All of the previously mentioned possible solutions do nothing either. I would like to change the font size and the color of the font to contrast the background if possible. I also want to get rid of the shadow. I could send an image but, it would look very
Thank you for your quick responses and I am glad to see that it is being taken care of quickly in a new update.
I tried the troubleshooting options but, that didn't seem to help at all. I then just changed my mouse buttons again, moved the icons I wanted, and then changed the mouse back. An inconvenience but, easily done. Thanks
Hi JMBdev, That did it. I switched the mouse from left handed to right handed and it worked. As soon as I switched it back, it went back to not allowing the drag. I stopped and started the dock after each switch but, before trying the drag. I am unable to find any option to switch to left hand in the dock settings. I need to use my left hand for health purposes that I mentioned earlier. Please let me know if you guys find anything out about this. In the meantime, when I have time,
Hi JMBdev, You are correct. I have the mouse buttons switched and I am using it in my left hand. This is my work computer and because I have 'de Quervain's Disease' ( WWW Link I am trying to minimize the possibility of it reoccuring. If it occurs again - a third time - I will most likely need surgery. I am right handed. I will try switching the mouse buttons and let you know what happens. If that doesn't

Oh, I forgot to mention that I have tried various 'background appearances' and that didn't seem to work either. I use the Windows Classic default theme. Thanks
Hello, I have ObjectDock Plus 1.9 installed now. I use Windows XP Pro and ObjectDock was working fine until about 2 weeks ago, on the version before 1.9. For some reason, I can't drag the icons along the dock. The 'lock dragging' isn't checked. I tried both checking and unckecking and neither way helped. With locked dragging checked I can't move the icon at all which makes sense but, with it unchecked, I can move the icon only slightly. I can't move it more than have way past the ic
