There is an old saying I once heard, it goes something along the lines of Two wrrongs don't make a right. There's another old saying I heard. It goes, "I'd rather have millions of Iraqis raped and murdered than see Iraqis fight back and hurt even just one terrorist." Now, if that's not what you're saying, and you agree that the Iraqis ha

So, Democrats are pissed that the Iraqis are fighting fire with fire, and videotaping it in an effort to dissuade other would-be terrorists (which I'm sure is preferable to that would-be terrorist becoming a real terrorist, as it would prevent needless deaths), and that's a bad thing? So, they 'd rather not use fear to dissuade would-be terrorists, and instead want would-be terrorists to become real terrorists, and kill innocent Iraqis, and then be killed himself, which would then be CONDEMNE
Here's something I found that's reaffirming my faith in humanity. It's the aftermath of this whole ordeal. Radio station KOA-AM of Denver raised more than $1,900 from listeners Friday to pay the girls' $930.78 fine. The rest of the money will go to a charity dedicated to vic
How the heck you can quote with this thing. But anyway I didn't mention Al Jazeera (or any other news channel) What I tried to tell is that if you had watched some other media than you would have seen something else than just happy people dancing on the streets and reports of merry voting. That's true. You didn't mention any actual news channel.
The Simpsons. It has longevity.
Well, it definitely catches people's attentions, so I guess it does work.
I think if George W. is so convinced that the war in Iraq was needed, he should have his daughters join the military and risk their lives in Iraq! Well, 1) people can't force others to join the military, and if you think such a thing should be law, then that says more about you than it does about Bush, and 2) if the children of politicians had to
The girls might have lost $800+, but the woman will always be miserable and nucking futs! Let's hope the judge faces some real justice for his ruling.
I'm surprised that you're thirteen. I don't remember anybody being interested in politics at such a young age. Not that that's a bad thing. It's good to be interested in the future of the country. Don't worry about what people have to say. Some people might not like it, but others will, and I'd much rather see your entries than some of the crap that people post.
What I find funny is how some people think it's worse that the Iraqis choose a government that they prefer that's hostile to the US than it is to be terrorized by Hussein.
That is such a load of bunk. Yes, it's true that certain religious leaders in the Christian and Jewish communities have been pushing this INTERPRETATION of the 10 commandments for hundreds of years in order to justify Executions, War, Revenge Killings, and other practices which are common and accepted in their cultures, but if you believe that man is made in the Image of G
Then you are the living embodiment of the line, "the quickest way for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing". Another good line concerning such a pacifism at any cost mentality: The road to hell is paved with good intentions. For all of Bush's faults, I don't consider "able to have dangerous people killed rather than let the dan
The problem I see with people is that they look at the world in black and white. They say, "Well, since FOX News is biased, then surely CBS must not be!" or "Since American news is biased, surely non-American news can't be!" People need to understand that the world isn't black and white. It's more like wrestling: shades of gray.
I have ideals, sqrrldrw, but I'm also a realist. Sure, it might be hypocritical of me to condone the killing of the Nazi soldiers in WW2, but I'm sure most people in the world prefer the action we took over the action we could have taken that would have involved no killing of any kind by the US, which would have given Hitler a free ride to European domination.
What's funny is that Bill Clinton claims to be a Christian, and yet he sent people to Bosnia to KILL other people. Kennedy too send people to other countries to KILL other people, and he's a Catholic! Even FDR sent people to Japan and Germany to KILL others, and something tells me he was a Christian too. Makes you think. So, are you saying that we should have let Hitler kill everybody since killing his Nazi soldiers violates the sixth commandment?
I wish Black "leaders" would embrace the examples of Bill Cosby and Kirk Franklin (a man I really respect for a few words I hear many years ago by him, in which he criticized the hypocrisy of rappers talking about how they're Christians even while calling women bitches and promoting violence). I guess racism is profitable though.
This is how I see it. By saying it isn't genocide, it has no obligation to prevent it. After all, what made the situation in Bosnia any worse than the atrocities that are happening around the world? The genocide. Without the genocide, the UN can rationalize its inaction.
I think it's funny how people think that Al-Jazeera is completely unbiased and 100% accurate, just because the American media isn't completely unbiased and 100% accurate. These people don't seem to understand that both sides could be biased and inaccurate, because they need to see the world in black and white.
Something tells me that if these people had the chance, they would have been at ground zero "protesting" with the "freedom fighters" against the infidel voters.
Political views are one thing, calling liberals names, patronizing and insulting them is another. Let me be the first *today* to tell you to grow up. Once a company begins selective arbitration of who they want as customers, its only a matter of time before that company enters a decline. I'll start the clock on Stardock right now, and lets see where you are in 24 months. B
Does the constitutional protection against illegal searches and seizures extend to motor vehicles? If I remember correctly, police don't need a search warrant to search one's vehicle.
The best way to deal with this is to hit them where it hurts: by giving advertisers a reason not to support them.
No, but its one less person that you have to hire. Say you have a team of 5 employees working at a McDonald's at any one time, four on registers, and one taking drive thru orders. If the drive thru orders are taken at another restaurant, that's one less job at the restaurant your at. That one that's taking drive thru orders still has to be there
So, who's going to lose a job over this? Is there somebody at McDonald's who's sole purpose is just to take drive through orders and nothing else ?
Let's just clarify here--being pro-choice does not mean being pro-abortion. Simply because I think that the government does not have jurisdiction over my body does not mean that I am going to run out and have abortions willy-nilly. One doesn't have to want more abortions, but wanting less abortions, even though nothing's wrong with abortions? Wh
