@ Compexpert; The bèta's are only available to current subscribers of OD, you need the full suite subscribtion to be able to get bèta(s) acces, the bèta`s are not in the store, only to be downloaded from your OD account. So if your subscribtion ended in 2007 you will have the rights of use of the software as was on subscribtion-expiring-date. You sort of purchased the than existing version. You don`t have rights to update or upgrade i

Great job guys, it`s awesome!!! Great new feature, being able to apply effects to a background!! And great I have all my old/previous backgrounds automatically restored in my library. Feels like coming home.....I love it. No problems here so far, W8 x64, no reboot necessary to make it work, and fences-icons can be tweaked without any problems.. Thanks a lot. I ran 0.95 and my updatechecker told me there were no updates available. However 0.99 is out. I think the updater needs some work. Maybe an option to install updates automatically in the paid version?

This solution works fine. And I couldn`t agree more Wiz! [e digicons][/e] I don`t expect CFX to work under W8, SD doesn`t say so, so that it (mostly) works is great since I bought it for XP and upgraded a way back. However, can there not easily be a line(s) in CFX that sais "IF in .... use default cursor" Startscreen, appscreen and charmsbars could be, among others, such an exception. Maybe as a tempo

For example; I have pictures of my skinks, and since they are shy I take a series of photo`s, they flee at sight. The image I use as a background for my Lock-screen and Start-screen are the same. However, in the Start-screen the image is displayed 90 degrees rotated to the left. Sin

Maybe this helps; A BSOD creates a dumpfile(*.dmp). Dump files are stored to help finding the problem. So, if you upload this file to a forum that helps you to debug it, you`ll find out what actually caused it. Here is How To by Windows8Forum

Installed it and love it too. Thanks Stardock, it doesn`t make me feel missing Deskscapes that much! I understand that dsbig123 wants transparent tiles with just the app showing. Could there be transparent spaces/empty transparent tiles, I mean so that you can organize the tiles in a way the background "asks for"? Now the tiles automatically hook up to the previous and open spaces are not possible. And, maybe, more possibilliti
