My computer has a 1.79ghz pentium 4 with 1gb of ram and a nvidia geforce 5500 graphics card. Is that enough to run the game?
Deep Space 9? Wimpy station. I always have the Iron Bitch. Read the Armagedon Inheratance from David Weber. I never bother naming bases, but my ship classifications are all based on Honorverse ship classes. Care to guess what Shrike and Ferret class ships are?
I use shrike and ferret class ships for my tinies. Shrikes are beam armed and Ferrets are missile armed.
I think home system asteroids are specified in the xml. Asteroid settings do have a major effect on other asteriods.
Ah ok! So the more agents I send to a particular race, the higher my espionage level on them will be. Does it matter how much I'm paying for espionage, or is that purely to get agents faster?
The more you pay, the faster you get agents. Spending has no effect on espionage level
Yeah TA is much better in my opinion. No more little soldiers marching at each other, instead we have movies of things like cities being destroyed.
AND - you can name your Starbases. That way, all the geeks can call their first starbase "Deep Space 9"
You can already name starbases.
The dreadlords are supposed to be obscenely powerful 10 dreadlord troops should be able to handle at least 6000 humans. However, they should not be able to sign peace treaties at all.
No new tiles appear but when you only have 1 tech, production on the planet is half what it should be.
I am not sure if this is where to post about Twilight of Arnor but I will do it anyway. So I was messing around and building a Colony ship that looks a bit like a City and I added a really nice turbine like thing to look like engines and then animated it. So I kept adding more things to it but eventually when I add something it messes up graphically now. I have only jewelry on the ship at the moment with no functional parts. I am using the cargo hull that is just the generic cube
Red Alert 1,Halo1-3,Galciv2+DA+TA.
You should download it. I havent seen the bug again.
I think this happened to me before when I designed my giant troop transport. I didn't try turning of enhanced ship rendering but when I had about 140+ components stuff started to disappear.
More modern factories take longer to build than the basic factory. If you colonize a planet once you have already researched a higher level factory you can click on a tab above the buildings list on the planet screen. Click the old tab and the list will display obsolete factories that build quickly. A few of these and you can build modern factories much more quickly.
Range is how far a ship can go from a friendly planet or starbase. Sensors is sensor range.
Movement bug is gone. Im playing a game right now to see if I can reproduce the alliance bug.
AI set to Intelligent is full algorithms and no bonuses. After intelligent each level gives the AI increasing economic bonuses.
The "not enough" planets was a bug in the 1.7 beta. It was fixed in the very next patch. 1.8 was released with several bugs but these were fixed in versions 1.8b through 1.8g. I only noticed 1 bug in 1.8g but I haven't replayed far enough in the game to reproduce it. I played a game where when I was at war with the Drengin they suddenly signed a peace treaty with me without even asking me. I noticed it when I told a fleet to attack a Drengin fleet and the game warned me that this would
can anyone tell me how to take a screnie of my ships, locate the file where they go and upload them tot he forum plz <IMG id=ImageResize_Image_7 src="http://images
I played a game where when I was at war with the Drengin they suddenly signed a peace treaty with me without even asking me. I noticed it when I told a fleet to attack a Drengin fleet and the game warned me that this would be an act of war. I called off the attack and ended the turn and then got a message that the Terran Alliance(me) has made peace with the Drengin Empire. I had an alliance with the Altarians who were also at war with the Drengin. They also made peace. I think it only happens wh
I almost always play with rare or uncommon habitable worlds and very slow research. I do this for 3 reasons a. I don't like having to deal with very many planets at once. b. I like having a chance to use what I research before it becomes obsolete. c. Few planets means I can play on a huge map without much slowdown.
It drops to 3. It may take a turn of being in the influence to have an effect.
ello friends how do hi get started in a online game? or how do hi join a online game thank you for your help templar
Sorry, there isn't any multiplayer but there is a Metaverse that lets you post your highscores to compare with other players.
Quote: "Has anyone tried playing the Thalans under a very slow tech advancement? I would think they would be seriously hurting under such a setting." I always play on very slow tech. I tried the thalans on very slow without tech trading and even with all money to research it took me forever to get close to their markets, factories, labs. I quit the game and started one with tech trading on and that helped tremendously.
I love the new invasion window. Much better than the old one. Also I noticed a bug with the stars. When you click on one instead of displaying the number of planets it displays what seems to be the text you would see if you clicked on one of the new Ascension victory resources.
I dont think TA is any more demanding than DA.
