There was still pirates protecting every single planet (ok i guess, i don't mind) Pirates are in every game. The option at start-up is just for marauding pirates - those that seek out planets.

I posted something somewhere
You can turn on a transparent fill behind the empire tree. See options menu.
Capital ships will have custom debris pieces
A lot of time and effort. We worked with countless words/phrases that could capture the spirit of each race - visually and vocally.
We have something in the works. Appreciate the details.
You are free to do the same thing to him as well
Thanks Lordkosc. We do our best
Shields used to be yellow for the TEC - then they were updated to reflect the different environments.
Thanks Homer. I've heard several reports of this before. Does it feel like the scroll 'slips' and you zoom in extremely close all of a sudden? Was the camera plane almost level when you zoomed in? Can you correct the speed by pressing the shift button?
Also the main screen should really be just two dimensional then from there 3 dimensional. It really blows looking around for stars systems at this point. Hi Baron, Thanks for your feedback. Could you please elaborate on the quote above. I am not quite sure what you mean by this. Also, what do you consider micro about the game - could you give some examples of what is bothering you? Thanks!
UI issues - sometimes I wanted to divide up my entire fleet to make defending my planets easier - IE a few ships here a few ships there - a method to view all ships and their current locations would make it easier to assign defense spots rather then going to each planet and figuring out what each planet has. (Basically a way to see all capital, frigate, and cruiser type ships). Thanks Abarge! We are currently looking at new innovations to the empire tree
Great ideas! We have a huge list of Flair features that just keeps growing. Up to this point they were low on the priority list - our resources were devoted to basic gameplay, ships, abilities, and the fundamentals. As we move closer to release you can expect an exciting array of environmental & other features
Hi TheAvatarOfPeace Welcome to the forums! Its always nice to hear from new members. It sounds like you have all the RTS prerequisites you need to take on SINS. We look forward to your feedback on the game in Beta 3. The last beta was rife with forum-recommended features & alterations. We're always listening!
Hi Massive, you can disable those icons here: menu > options > UI >Show main view icons Yes, that is right PasDeCharge.
Thanks for the feedback. Not only does this give us a good idea of what should stay in the game, it inspires the team to create even more of what you want. -yes, more music on the way -yes, more wild explosions/weapon effects -yes, logistics is being tweaked -yes, the empire managment tree is under evaluation
instead of having all thes asteroid planets all over the place we coudl have ordinary planets (volcanic, artic, desert, terran, gas, acid, ect) Thanks for the post Lamin We have exciting plans for more variety at the nodes - which are currently dead asteroids...shhhh
Be nice Some people are here for the first time. They suffer from the same "first game of SIN's delirium" we all experienced. Symptoms include missing work/school, talking in one's sleep, lack of appetite, and inability to decipher post titles.
Does this stem from the Sova's role compared to carrier frigates, other capital ships, or just a general feeling?
At this time we have no plans to isolate a small group of beta testers for previleged testing.
These are interesting ideas. How do you see yourself defending your planets in the solar system when they can be attacked from all sides?
A last thought. I like the earlier-mentioned ability in the game to target groups of enemy ships by using stacking in the pips window, but I prefer to view my own ships non-stacked. Is it possible to make it an option that only enemy ships are stacked? That is how I prefer to play as well What I usually do is selection the faction icon beside my ships an
Great suggestions guys. Notes taken. Also, have the ability to make ships hold positions or patrol an area. To alter your attack states simply right click the attack button. You can toggle between Attack within Weapon Range (HOLD), Attack local area, Attack Gravity Well. I am not sure how the patrol would work with the node system we have. What did you have in mind?
If we get enough people to ask for it bigger Ironclad will listen, the KOL ships in beta2 are 20% bigger than they were in beta1. We are certainly listening to everything The problem with scaling modules
Is their a reason the Turrets on the Kol were changed to these new ones? In all honesty the other turret models were far superior, made the weapon look imposing. These new ones look ok but where are the textures? That is a mistake actually Those turrets are a stubborn older version that came back to haunt us. This will be fixed in the next patch. Good eye!
