Yeah, it's a Windows 11 thing. Even without Start 10/11, you can move the Taskbar in Windows 10, but not 11
Also, start 11 beta still is being worked on and developed. More features are in fact coming. the left taskbar could still happen depending on how development goes and it's demand. I would stay tuned for the next releases.
I'm hoping so, but as you said, it partially depends on demand. So we have to keep this conversation going so Stardock know how much we want it.
From memory Explorer Patcher basically reverts the task bar to exactly as it was in Windows 10 (more or less). I like the Windows 11 taskbar pretty much exactly the way it is. I just want it on the left of my screen.
This is by far the most popular thread on the forum. But no sign of a moveable taskbar yet in version 1.1 or 1.11, or indication of it being included in 1.2. 😥
According to this , they are currently working on taskbar-related features, so fingers crossed that a movable taskbar is one of those
Another vote for being able to move the taskbar to the left. I'm currently using StartAllBack to do so on Windows 11, and I attempted to use it in conjunction with Start 11, but... that didn't go so great. The menu kept popping up and preventing me on clicking on anything at all until I killed explorer (which was difficult with the menu constantly popping up).
