Yes, same email for PayPal as Stardock account. So after downloading/installing/launching ODM I selected Groupy, Start10, Fences, and DeskScapes to install. I used my Stardock account login to initiate the downloads. Everything downloaded and installed but when it came to Groupy I had select a green "install" button because it wouldn't auto-install. Next to the Install button there was an orange Serial Number button. I clicked on it and revealed a serial number. During the install of

Thanks for the reply. No Activation Key seen under Object Desktop. In the email receipt it has (Digital Download) underneath 'Object Desktop'. On my Account | Downloads page there's Object Desktop Manager and a click to view downloads underneath. That's where I downloaded the individual programs I wanted to use: Groupy, Fences, and Start10. There is also Object Desktop 2007 with an Activation Key underneath but that is for my old installation.</p

I just purchase Object Desktop 2018 yesterday (Sunday) and downloaded what I wanted to use. The order receipt email didn’t really contain much information. When should I receive the product keys for all the applications? I logged into my account on the Stardock page but there’s only keys listed for older purchases. So for now I initiated 30-day trials on the

I can't install the Twilight Update via Impulse. I just bought, downloaded and installed Twighlight onto my 64-bit Vista SP1 computer without any problems. But when I click on the patch updater (1.96.027) I get a message saying the program is not compatible with my current operating system. Ideas?

I am curious about the serial numbers provided by Stardock. I rec'd a serial number for SoaSE via email upon my online purchase of the game. I also opted to receive the game disc in the mail. When I rec'd the physical DVD it too included a serial number inside the case which is different from the original email serial #. I had already installed Sins on my desktop. The desktop contained the original downloaded Sins and the email serial #. When I installed Sins on a new lapt

I could choose 1920x1200 (24" Samsung 245BW) in the game Options window but when I did the game would crash. I ended up manually editing the configuration text file and now the game runs fine. Go figure. And yes, the intro movie playes only @ 1024x768. Methinks Ironclad have underestimated their core gamer's hardware. ;)

There should be a sticky for group get togethers. I'm a complete noob to SoaSE and would love to get into some group action with similar players. I'm on mountain time so if anyone is looking for a guinea pig to smite give me a holler. :)

Okay, after much experimenting I managed to get the game going. I found the settings file and manually edited the full screen resolution in there and saved it out. Game started @ 1920x1200 without any problem! Go figure. Now I hope it lasts. :)

Being a GCII player & fan, after listening to many podcasts, and reading recent reviews touting SoaSE I threw caution to the solar wind and purchased the collector's ed download two days ago. I finally installed it today and was able to watch the intro cinematic and get to the menu screen. However, when trying to set the game's display option to 1920x1200 the game crashes. There is an audible beep and the screen goes black but I still get the game's mouse cursor. I have to bring up the task mana

Okay, fair enough with your methods and reasonings, Yarlen. I was introduced to GC2 after it went public and never knew about the beta for DA. I hope the beta testers pick up on any spelling and grammatical errors that plagued GC2. It's one of the reasons I'd like to beta SoaSE but I obviously don't want to pay for that privilege. Good luck and like I mentioned earlier I'll be eagerly watching it's progress. Who knows...perhaps I'll change my mind by the time Beta 2 is released. <img src="http:/

>Stands on soapbox Why couldn't the existing registered GalCiv players have access to the Sins beta test? Like sbradfor says, why does the beta access have to be only for prepaid customers? I'm an avid gamer and really enjoy GC2 and DA and would love to participate with the Sins beta. However I'm not going to shell out money just to become an informal Stardock intern A demo doesn't cut it because b

Thanks for the quick responses! Doh! about the Search tool. Obviously I need a glasses... That's cool Blender has it but I'll stick with the 'real' apps, thanks. I'll use the plugin for LW and hopefully that'll be enough.

Greets all, Just got GC2 the other day and have been enjoying it immensely. I am also interested in doing some mods, being a CG artist and all. A couple of comments & a question: 1. These forums should have a "search" feature. At least I didn't see a search field anywhere. 2. The game manual states that DestopX is a "free download". It's a free trial download but a person still needs to buy it eventually. That's misleading. 3. Are ".X' files DirectX fi
