Ironic that someone makes a huff about points being deducted for Non Vista, yet they feel that points being added for " Bonus points for supporting control panel icons and lots of different file icons ". is OK.
Vista has a control panel, somewhere...lol and a lot of file types too...lol

bet he yells at the tv, when there's nothing on it too....lol
hyave to agree with Vstyler there.... screenshots never look the same as the icons actually being in use... and let's not forget when it comes to icons usability, there's also the factor of which WB it's being used with... for example a black ip wouldn't work with a brown explaorer background if the browns too dark for it or there isn't enough contrasting of the blinds and the icons... so a lot of factors come into play... pesonally
People just won't admit Vista is a pup. Vista was supposed to be a new visual experience blah blah. But really, with all these incredible Stardock programs to play with, Vista kinda missed the boat.
New Visual...not so new when we think how many SD apps and skinners came out with basically the same, and i might add better experiences on XP My personal oppinion Vista is the new Windows ME or 2000, for those of us who were fortunat
First, congrats, both are tremendous Skinners, and people as well as talented artist... very much deserved... Second, 2009, being a phenominal year for skinning... 2008's been pretty good...lol I'm very happy with it, and planning on doing some actual contributing to the upcoming year... in the mean time, wishing everyone the best for the whole skinning community...

if you're that upset dude then take it out on MS...the limitation isn't a stardock thing is the OS... and the fact we only get a 4 bit image for the bootscreen... i think stardocks done an awesome job just giving us XP dudes animated walls... what sad is you lack of apparent gratitude for what they did... unless you're a genuise too, and magically managed to do it as well they have for you... which i'm on XP, just so you know... and VISTA to XP let's see we get a
the five to ten pixels at the bottom is what the taskbar uses to know when to come out of hidden state, that i learned when i was doing some other mods on the syatem to change the backgrounds using a different program... wish you luck with the pixelization thing, maybe the next update will fix it...
i'm getting the error of whenever i go to run Deskscapes, for XP that says the "application failed to start because the application's not configured properly to run on my system." tried doing a uninstall...from impulse and it still installed, as in does not unninstall... thinking i'll wait for the updates and see if that solves it, otherwise i'm at a loss as to how to fix...so any suggestions would be appreciated... dreammaker's working fine t
That dreaded blue screen... seen it few time when i was learning about making the bootskins... what i found is : if you use paint or some of the other art programs even though you save them in a 16 color format and the 4 bit they don't always do it corectly...thust not doing what the programs telling us it's doing...lovely aren't they...lol there's and art filter for photoshop... you can find the pluging to do the 4bit at the following link...website http://photoshop.pluginsworld.com/p
