Negative on the IRC here. Hopefully I'll hear from one of the staff on here soon. Thanks though.

Nope, I'm still getting "error activating the product"
I don't like things that don't work like the are supposed to. If I can't get it working automatically, I'm going to delete the update, and if need be, return the game. I'm looking for a solution, not a step-around.
Maybe a word from someone official? This really sucks for me, because the game doesn't work well with my new video card, and I need the 1.1 patch to play. So I'm twidling my thumbs until the server comes back up (if that's the case) or until I get another idea.
Update: I just re-installed the program off the disks. Still no sig.bin file. If this is the source of the problem, what is a guy to do?
I looked there, and ran another windows search. Nowhere in my GalCiv files is there one labeled sig.bin. Maybe a full reinstall is needed.
Lol yes I did. I was reposting, so that the topic description described the current problem (old moderator habit). I can't seem to find the sig.bin file, even with a windows search.
I just got version 1.1, and attempted to activate it, but i get the message "Error activating the product". My computer is fully internet capable and functioning normally. What is going on, and what can be done, other than activating via email? I was told to try to find and delete the sig.bin file, but I have none.
I tried re-installing and rebooting.... now the registration says "Error activating the product" and fails.
Just downloaded 1.1, and installed it. When I tried to activate, it says 'Invalid Registration'. I have double checked the serial number against the label on the CD Jewel case, and tried a few times to register, but it keeps failing. Any ideas?
Maybe taking off the side panel would help then as well, until I can get around to getting 1.1?
Did 1.0 have crashing issues as well?
Here is the debug file. I do not believe I am suffering from any of the "common errors". At first, I had no issues with the game. However, I recently added a GeForce 6200 card to my PC, and once I did, the game began experiencing problems. Sometimes a few turns in, sometimes many, the screen will go black, reporting loss of video signal, and then the PC restarts. However, sometimes, the video signal is lost, without restarting the PC, and I must restart the PC by shutting off the power. Has anyone had a similar problem, and what can be done about it?
