Jumped through the hoops. Problem persists. Problem still not existant on old secondary. Quick note for future reference: I had to re-enable startup for Multiplicity service before the batch file would be able to work.
Purge the secondary. https://forums.stardock.com/486104/multiplicity-support-faq#reinstalling Sean Drohan Stardock Support Manager
That's what was done to the secondary. Specifically: Uninstalled, rebooted machine. Ran the Purge_MP.bat. Rebooted machine. Reins
There is no keyboard/mouse software on either machine. Tests show that both alt and tab are transmitted fine, it is just on the new secondary, alt+tab does not switch between active programs as it should. In addition, after the uninstall-reinstall of Multiplicity, it is occasionally asking for registration/license on the new secondary. Despite it being configured as only a secondary.
I have been keeping an eye on the thread, no updates have been forthcoming. Problem is still ongoing with no help.
...it's now been over a week. Still have this problem.
Problem still persists, any help would be appreciated,
And did so again on primary, problem still persists. Alt+tab still working on old secondary. Ctrl+Tab switches tabs in browser on new secondary, alt+space works, et cetera. But for some reason alt+tab simply accomplishes nothing.
Did the purge and reinstall on secondary, problem persists. In case it is of any use, Ctrl+Alt+Del *does* work.
Finally replaced Windows XP secondary machine. New machine is running Windows 8.1 pro. For some reason, alt transmits to secondary fine, so does tab, but Alt+Tab does absolutely nothing. Old secondary machine, alt+tab works just fine. Primary is running Windows 8.1 and has been for quite some time. New Secondary and Primary are both running Multiplicity version 3.44 Build 00090. Please help?
