it's still a problem if you want to install a game on a isolated PC(as is, a PC not connected nor able be connected to any kind of network with internet access), isn't it? And besides, honestly, it's not like a system like this is that difficult to crack anyway. Sticking to the current Stardock policy(the game is not protected, but to get patches you need validation) would be the best thing IMHO.

When a colony ship enters a planet tile, or a constructor enters a resource tile, they should begin colonization or starbase building automatically. To build a starbase on a empty tile however you need to move the constructor in position then click on it, select "Costruct" from the bottom panel and then choose the starbase you want. The fact that you weren't able to do these things is strange, and right now I can think of only a reason for it...did you build custom colony ships and co

also, you can select a template type(es. a medium ship) and just add the funcional parts(engines, weapons,...) to get decent-looking ships without the hassle of designing it, while keeping direct control over what you get on gameplay level.
I think the reasoning is "If he could do that to them, what's stopping him from doing it to me?" More importantly, if you already have an alliance with the Krynn, the malus doesn't matter much. The AI won't break a treaty (short of the assassination event), so once you're allied the various + and - factors are irrelevant (for that race only, of course).
Still, it's irritating to see. If my informations are correct, you don't have an AGP slot on the motherboard, so you'd need to find one of those old cards that use PCI(*not* PCI-Express). That may be tricky...and you need at least a card with minimum 64MB of RAM to be ok. 128MB is better. Honestly I don't know much about this anymore, Google is your friend though [e digicons]^_^[/e] If you *do* have an AGP slot it's much easier...a Ati Radeon 3450 could be a nice economic choice that could even enable you to w

I had a look about the GX270, and I have some doubts about it being able to run GC2...the integrated graphics doesn't help. Have a go at the demo if you want to be sure, but I'm 90% sure that it won't run decently.

at least tell what kind of CPU and graphic card you have, and how much RAM. If you don't know that, I suggest trying a software like Everest( http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en&page=11 ) that will tell you much :)
I think this si quite normal I mean YOU are the leader, and as such you should know that engaging in war with a race will provoke all those allied with that race and of course they don't like it that's exactly what happened with Real World Wars, with alliances and such everyone got into war by one way or another and even if one is more powerful, at some point some people or countries

First of all, since this is my first post, hello everyone! [e digicons]:D[/e] And now here's my story. I'm playing TA on an immense map, tough difficulty. I started aiming for a diplomatic, or maybe influence victory, managed to get to nice relations with all races(except for the Drengin, but after declaring war they didn't last much...they aren't a factor anymore) and allied with Krynns and Arceans. Then, an assassination event came up, Torians declared war on Krynns, and I
