Thanks guys!

Ok I said this would be quick, so: 1) If I change some values of things, will those new values be reflected in an existing save-game, or do I have to start a new game for them to take affect? 2) I want to mod an Intrigue XML file, specifically 'GovernmentDefs.xml'. I copied this file from my steam directory, and placed it in a new mod folder in MyGames/GC3Crusade/Mods/MyMod/Game/ - is this correct? Do I need to do anything else in term
I wonder if governments and colony limits are moddable?
Are colony limits and change time moddable?
Kinda game-breaking to not be able to build wealth improvements with +1 wealth adjacency...
So I researched 'Xeno Economics' which lists 'Shopping Centers' as an unlocked planetary improvement. However, I can't build any on any of my planets, they don't appear in the build menu at all. Am I missing something here?
Ok thank you!
So I got war dec'd pretty early on, had to hide most of my stuff in my starbases for defense but the enemy did manage to pick off several constructors and survey ships. I would have thought that losing these ships would refund the admin points I spent on them, but when I hover admin capacity, its telling me "-3 constructors" and "-6 survey ships" when I only have 1 of each currently alive. Bug or working as intended?
Yes both machines have all DLCs installed, I have tried removing different DLCs on my PC and still doesn't work. Any chance this issue ever gets resolved or is it just a complete mystery?
One things I have noticed is that on my laptop, there is a new feature that shows how many players are waiting in the 4P FFA queue when you join the queue. On my PC, it has always only displayed how many players were in the 1v1 queue, but not in the 4player queue. Is this a new feature that was added recently, and potentially the cause of my issue?
Was there a mini patch or fixes done to the Ranked servers around 3/1/18 which would be causing this? I did a Windows system restore to an automatic save back before I had this issue, have tried clean booting, turning off firewall, uninstalling/reinstalling steam and Offworld and nothing seems to work..

I know I've mentioned this on Discord, not sure if I have on this thread.. I can connect and play Lobby Games, its only the Ranked servers that gives me this error.
The only thing I did the day it stopped working was to flush my DNS because twitch videos were not loading. Did a command prompt, ipconfig/flushdns
My laptop and my PC actually have the same Public IP, but different Local IP addresses. Both my PC and my laptop are currently set to IPv4 "Obtain IP automatically". I was told Offworld can run on static or on dynamic IP. No programs were installed around the time that this error occurred.
Do I need to port forward something possibly?
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/490123938431097455/ This post was interesting as even though I told my computer to save all docs to my local machine, Offworld is still trying to load/save from OneDrive. Maybe this could be the issue as pointed out by someone on Discord? Well I finally got Offworld to look in my local documents folder rather than in Oned
Hello, thank you for your response! The OneDrive thing is strange, and even stranger that when I open Steam settings, that setting is not enabled (unchecked). I installed Offworld on my laptop and it works from my home connection. Edit: I created a new Admin user on my PC, rebooted, and same error persists. Edit Edit: Did a clean boot of my system by disabling everything except Microsoft apps and turning off startup items as described in the link you provided - still g
After uninstalling the game, deleting all files in steamapps/common, then reinstalling, I validated the game with 0 errors. I then launched the game, got the same bug I've been getting, then validated the game files again and got the "1 file needs to be re-downloaded" message.
I've added all of the .exe files in the steam/steamapps/common/offworld (Offworld, Stardock Launcher, and Updater) to my firewall exceptions list, still doesn't work. Is there some other file or file location I should be adding to my firewall exceptions? However, like I said previously, even turning off my firewall did not fix this issue, so maybe this doesn't even matter.. My guess (and I really have no idea), is that it has something to do with the fact that every ti
I am the only person on my network, I have no proxy setup. Internet service has not changed. I turned off my firewall and still got the same error when trying to connect to a Ranked match. Not sure what else to do...
Any update?
Hello, thank you for your response! 1) Offworld has worked fine for the last 3 weeks or so that I have been playing it, randomly started giving me this error yesterday. 2) I have the standard Windows firewall, Offworld is on the "allowed list". I disabled my firewall just to check and I still get the same error I have been getting when trying to connect to any kind of ranked match. I do not have any antivirus installed.
So I posted about this in Discord and was told that my issue was posted to an internal board of some kind, but I'm just going to go ahead and double post in hopes of getting this issue resolved sooner rather than later. Everytime I join a ranked queue, I get a "Match Error Occurred" Message where it would usually say "waiting for players" or "forming team". My log seems to point to an HTTP error, stating "OnMatchMakerStatus: Notification status type is error: set_fail_handler:
