Thank you for the clairification Hankers that is in fact what I was going for. Every once in a while I get wrapped up in Stardock speak and forget to elaborate fully. From here on out you are going to start seeing the newest updates through Impulse. Stardock Central will still be getting big updates but the little ones are on Impulse now. It's a brave new world.

You can't back up on beta versions I am afraid. If you are having that kind of trouble try doing a fast uninstall/reinstall. Should that not work contact us at support@stardock.com with your system information and we will help you as best we can. Please keep in mind this is still a beta and subject to errors. It is generally a safe bet to back up to the last release version.
PM me what you are sending then. I'll be happy to help.
Sorry I deleted the wrong post you asked to. But I will answer the question. Yes you can download and update CursorFX through Impulse.
Another way if you are having troubles is to contact sales either by phone or through sales@stardock.com. Support does not perform that action so sending it to support just means it has to take longer. Fuzzy has the normal means outlined correctly I'm just informing people of a common time saver.
Please give this a try: -Go to Tools->Settings -Click the Internet section -Click the "Refresh XML Data" button Run this program: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/clear_cache_sdc.bat Let me know if that works for you.
No that should not be the case. For a situation like that though we might need some more information. Please start up a support ticket with us at support@stardock.com or through the support link at the bottom of the page. We look forward to helping you!
You can always send in an email to sales@stardock.com with the change of information request. You will need to include the account password as verification. Let me know if you have troubles doing this. You can still access your old account and older purchases. If your subscription is behind you can always gain access to the software up to the updated point before the sibscription ran out.
Are you behind any routers or network security software? Or do you have some thrid party security software installed? Also is through the standard link, Stardock Central, or Impulse. If you are using the just download link try getting it through either of the other two downloading programs instead.
Good to know. If you do descide to follow up and try it out just let us know if you have further troubles!
Well Logon Studio was written for XP in mind. Logon Studio Vista was written for Vista obviously. Any other OSes that get these programs running is great but not using the software as intended. Furthermore Logon Studio is not supported and is no longer developed. So to answer your question I would suggest running in XP compatibility mode. If that does not work then you may not be able to run Login Studio.
We are gamers as much as we are a company. Hence this is one reason we do things so much differently than other companies. Like no copyright protection, and no need to keep the disk in the tray each time you want to play the game for instance. However we do have to protect ourselves. There is no way I can police the WalMarts or EBGames to make sure people are not ripping open the box and stealing your number. The very best I can do is take these on case by case and figure them out for you. <b
Good to hear. Glad things are working for you. And now the offical part.... If you should have further troubles please contact us at support@stardock.com (though for a web site problem you did excatly what you should have save from contacting the site admin). Carry on citizens!
Here is the current word on BootVista. It went through Q&A to find some pretty extensive troubles. Not with the code mind you but how it works with Vista. BootVista will not be included in either version of Object Desktop 2008 for this reason. The developers are going to try again with it after the 2008 launch, and if they feel it can be fixed it will go back into Q&A. If the large problems that persist with the software remain then Stardock will not be releasing BootVista. That is the ne
Send an email to us at support. Please include a referance to this post. support@stardock.com
Then it leads me to belive it might be a SP1 problem. Anyone else that has this problem dealing with it on Vista SP1?
We forwarded on a few things from customers to them, as well as a few reports and trouble tickets from the larger names in human user devices. I'm certian it is a big concern but I, of course, cannot speak on their behalf. They are good peoples, even better gamers. In the mean time you can start up a ticket with us at support@stardock.com. We can always search your situation for the answer.
Running as admin should fix the trobule for you. If you are unable to do so it is possible to just run the software as admin. Simply right click on the .exe then go to properties. There can set just that program to run as admin for the same results.
Do you have mouse software installed for your mouse type? Some extra friendly Logictec or MS software that allows you to scroll through the index of something or other and/or use the middle mouse button to activate a tool? If so try taking it out and see if that works.
Good times! If you have any questions you can always ask them here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. If you have software questions that are very specific, or account troubles of any kind, contact us at support@stardock.com. Cheers
There are several updates missing from that config file. Please use either Stardock Central or Impulse to update Window Blinds. I am going to recomend Impulse. https://www.stardock.com/Impulse_setup.exe Download the update, restart and see if it clears the issue. Let me know here or at support@stardock.com if you have further troubles.
Well what everyone said here covers just about everything I would suggest right out of the gate. Please make sure you referance this thread when you write into support. It is the weekend now so it might be a bit before the ticket is addressed but we will see to it. If you have any random questions from some of these suggestions you can PM me through here.
Zubaz is correct. However I think (mind you think is the word here) that if you point Stardock Central to the download location of your choise after reinstalling then hit download again (which it should race right by since all the data will be there already) it should create a new registry. Basicly you are going to reinstall with out ever uninstalling. If this does not work you pretty much need to clear the data and get everything again.
What about the Scotts and the Irish? Where you at with them?
If you clicked on the Get MyColors box you have the free version of the Quest theme. There is no purchase needed for that. If you go to a specifc MyColors page you can click on the Buy button right on that page. See the example here: Gyre MyColors They all cost $19.95 and are a complete package with nothing else needed to run it.
