That error I have only seen with current versions of Vista. I'm not sure what could have changed your status with XP except any security software that monitors installing software. I would like to suggest one of the basic approaches to Impulse error messages from the FAQ first. If this and an uninstall/reinstall does nothing for you please let us know at support@stardock.com. -Click the blue Help icon in the upper right. -Choose 'Open XMLs folder (public)' -When the folder po

Please email us at support@stardock.com so we can look into this with further detail for you.
Ruben what is your ticket number for this support issue? Also Icon Packager should not interfere with IE. We will explore this further once I can get a look at your current troubles. Sorry for the delay.
Click on the Stardock Orb, Preferences. Connection tab. last option.
This has helped most people, more so if you have a proxy server to go through. If you still have troubles please give the full version a try. http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe
Just to be certain I have to ask. Have you checked your video drivers?
It not only has to be updated but changed up quite a bit. No schedule has been posted at this time. Sorry.
Hi, I used myclours and applied the diamond theme. All works well until the next day when my right click menus all go black and cannot see the writing on them. If I reapply the diamond theme in mycolours its OK again until the next day.
Can you post the system info here? Also what version of WindowBlinds is installed (if it is)?
In SDC please try the following: -Go to Tools->Settings -Click the Internet section -Click the "Refresh XML Data" button Run this program: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/clear_cache_sdc.bat Let me know if that works for you.
I have not been able to update since W/Bs 6.0. I have tried all that has been suggested to me by support but to no avail. Needless to say 6.2 dosnt work for me also. When my subscription is due next month i will not be renewing as i cannot upgrade W/Bs, which is my main programme.
I can't find a listed ticket in support for you. I did find your correspondence with Sales but nothing listed with us. Please contact support@stardock.com and we will be happy to help. OR
Nothing yet I am afraid. Currently the new dock system is underway. With one part completed and the next due to be done soon it isn't known what is getting imported to full ODP version yet. Or what the next big jump will be. So what that means is I don't know much. :( However it also means that tons of stuff is getting written right now in the dock family. There isn't any telling what will come of it once the next project is done. I wish I could give you more than that but I'm not
damoose - what browser is it that you are using? Did you try clearing the cookies?
Thank you for the info Gelabert! If either of you happen to run into this one again please let us know at support@stardock.com.
If you did not restart when prompted to when installing, OR you did not uninstall the trial first before installing you can get this error also. Both are fixed with a simple uninstall, restart, reinstall, restart again before running the application.
To be clear there was an update to the Plus version that is not present in the Free version. That update contained a fix for the AccuWeather docklet. Chances are if you have a location that the docklet can't read it might need the update. Once Object Dock gets the next big push this update will be included in the Free version.
Actually I was able to replicate the issue this time on a test machine. I am doing a follow up with the developers with my new information. I will let you know what I find out.
A clean install on my home computer was able to clear the issue for me. I would give it a try.
Yeah sorry, like I said we don't have anything that specifically does that. Sorry for the trouble.
Now after you update the game, if you still get the Iron Clad message you should send the question about it to info@ironcladgames.com. Iron Clad Online is run by IronCladGames and not Stardock. It is actually a separate account.
If you have any problems with Impulse from the above link try out the full version through this link: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Let me know if you have further troubles.
Not to correct Zubaz but sales@stardock.com handles account information changes. If you have already sent in the email to support don't worry someone will simply move it to sales. It's a good reference for later through.
What email address or ticket number did you use for the support email? (Please PM me the email address to keep it private if you like).
At this time that is not a feature of any of our software. Though really I know in most cases it should back out to the login screen when shutting down.
Another minor nuisance: Whenever I apply a theme through MyColors, my WB-icon in the systray disappears. I always have to open WB using the start-panel and re-apply the tick on 'show icon in the system tray.......'
Just as a question, if you have applied a MyColors theme why do you want the WB system icon showing?
Here is some info you can read on BITS. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8c6ef6c8-2abf-43c7-ab51-e0c53303086d&displaylang=en
It could be part of an old bug that was cleared in the updates. Has anyone else had this problem or one like it?
