Hi Dewie, Thanks. However, the obvious reason for which OD Plus 1.9 is loading so slowly on my system is the high number of tabs and shortcuts I have setup in my dock. And tabbed docks are not supported in the free version (unless I missed something - I could not find any comparison chart). And if version 2.0 still uses the old INI format to store the program configuration, I'm afraid version 2.0 will still load as slowly as version 1.9...

Hi, I have been using ObjectDock Plus 1.9 for several years now and I'm satisfied with the product. The only problem I have with it is that it loads and unloads very slowly. I have multiple tabbed docks loaded with a lot of shortcuts. Does version 2.0 load faster? Also, is there a clean migration path from 1.9 to 2.0 when upgrading? Are the current docks and shortcuts preserved? Thanks in advance.

Hi, As mentioned above, I don't want the dock to be always on top, so the option is unchecked. However, when I move the mouse cursor to a hotspot, the dock becomes active and becomes the foreground window. So it *is* on top at this time. But the entry text is still displayed under all the other windows. This entry text is aimed at giving information to the ObjectDock user, so displaying it behind other windows doesn't make sense in all cases.

I don't see any pattern Actually I can see one. My XP taskbar is set to autohide. Sometimes, especially when I'm using Internet Explorer, the taskbar no longer shows up when I move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen. It remains hidden. At that time, the entry text names in ObjectDock start to be displayed behind all other windows. <

Hi, Actually I have the same problem as Vyrolngo although the dock is not set to Always on top, which I don't want since I'm using many applications full screen. At the beginning of as session, the entry name text is normally displayed above all windows as expected. But after a while (I don't see any pattern), it starts displaying the text behind all other windows. I'm using version 1.50 Plus.

Hi, Most of the time, I cannot see the entry name text displayed on mouseover because it is displayed under the window that is opened beside my dock. Any way to fix this? Thanks in advance. -- Patrick Philippot - Microsoft MVP MainSoft Consulting Services www.mainsoft.fr

Hi, Have you created a case/ticket with Stardock? I suggest you use teh official channels along with this community forum. https://www.stardock.helpserve.com or email support@stardock.com If I'm saying that the support didn't answer until now, this assumes that I have reported the problem to them <img src="http://images.stardock.com/sd_c

>>If you disable docklets, does it help? >No, I have no docklet enabled. Confirmed. Docklets have been disabled from the Advanced dialog and ObjectDock Plus just crashed again without any warning. Still no answer from the support at this time.

> Zubaz > BackgroundTransparency=255 Thanks. This doesn't change anything. Actually, the transparency is a property of the background image itself, I think. So you have to edit the background image to change the t

Bonjour, Even the messages sent directly to the support are apparently ignored. They ask to be patient (48 hours delay expected) but almost one week is more than I can accept, especially when I report serious bugs. Bonne journée. -- Patrick Philippot - Microsoft MVP MainSoft Consulting Services www.mainsoft.fr

Hello, I was ready to advertise for ObjectDock among my fellow MVPs because it solves the problem of the Office Shortcut Bar replacement but I will refrain from doing this because the technical support is merely inexistant. I have reported some non trivial bugs and until now I didn't even receive an acknowledgement of these messages. What is your experience with the support at Stardock? Thanks. <br/

Hi, I didn't find any setting allowing me to change the opacity of a tabbed dock. Also, the "Apply this style to all tabs" doesn't seem to have any effect. Thanks. -- Patrick
