I see; the skill choices available at the "saved" levels might be ones you'd want to skip entirely due to the character design.

I've seen in a bunch of guides a suggestion to Save a level (at certain points) instead of picking a new ability. What's the advantage of doing that?

I think I'm ready to move up to the next difficulty level of offline play, but am not sure wheather I should crank up the AI difficulty or try 1v2 Easy AI games. I've noticed something about the Easy AI: none of the demigods seem to have a viable counter to the situation where I've got Catapultasauri first. I can essentially churn flags and save gold until my war rank allows me to buy them, and they crush the opposition.

The Elo rating system has been used successfully in tournament chess for about fifty years. About the only significant area which would need tweaking would be to take into account team games with more than one person per side; Yahoo games rate partnership games based on the average team ratings.

I've tried copying them to the profile directory and also to the replays directory, neither works. I wonder if replays created by previous versions of the game ar

I had this problem and ImpulseReactor.log showed this entry: "CVP: Failed to get application information from the server. Please check your internet connection settings and firewall and allow port 80 and 443 (TCP and UDP)". I just added Demigod to the list of allowed applications for my firewall and was subsequently able to login to the Multiplayer feature. I didn't ha

I just got the Civilization IV bundle (the files are downloading and installing in Impulse even as we speak) because it was near the top of the 25 best games of the decade list. I bet the thought of that will warm the naughty bits of the marketing department. heh.
