Comments on 1v1 Easy AI

I think I'm ready to move up to the next difficulty level of offline play, but am not sure wheather I should crank up the AI difficulty or try 1v2 Easy AI games.

I've noticed something about the Easy AI: none of the demigods seem to have a viable counter to the situation where I've got Catapultasauri first. I can essentially churn flags and save gold until my war rank allows me to buy them, and they crush the opposition.

1v1 Nightmare, you be da and face LE, also use the fix mods on here to get the ai to buy the right upgrades, items, and skills.

 

Seriously the AI of this game is the equivalent of a new born baby and that is at nightmare; if you play offline I suggest getting the ai mods on this site.

Give whatever you like a shot.  1v1 night... 1v2 on normal.  Or just load up the skirmish ai mod and play again 1v1 on easy.

The nightmare AI don't either.  In fact.. I did a 1v5 all nightmare starting lvl 20 / ws 10 / 25000g.. it took them over 20 minutes to buy priests, and over an hour until they got giants..  but hey.. they eventually got them.. at like warscore 20000 or so.  lol.

one of the things about the skirmish ai mod is that the dg's actually buy good items for their build.  They also actually do good ability builds as well... and they buy the critical upgrades at the right time (for the most part anyway).  If you just want to take the training wheels off a bit, give that a go 1v1. 

And a final thought - you could go online and host a 2 human v 2 ai game.  Not alot of people play comp stomps online, but I'm sure someone will likely join you.  And remember - as long as you get achievements, you still do get favor even against ai online (just not the total favor that is reported at the end of the game).
