Does the espionage skill ( race modifier, etc... ) have any bearing on how likely your spies will be detected? Just wondering what the result of a race with MASSIVE espionage skill and a huge spy expenditure could pull off.
the best answer to this question is in the link given by GW Swicord that is : espionage in DA and TA

as you may notice the update date is fixed (mine is exactly the same) so it's just the intrinsic date of the update and not the date at which you did update ... in any case, you may try to use the "debug" option to add additional debug information to the debug.err https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Command_line_options

yeah you are right don't get me wrong, maybe there's no problem with your memory sub-system. But in fact it really depends on how much the memory sub-system is stressed by applications and also what type of usage ... so memory errors can be very very hard to track down since they may happen very infrequently depending on usage (and type of defect if present) very few applications push the memory sub-system to its limits that's why I try to buy expensive branded

I think galciv3 will improve a bit and will perhaps go a bit farther toward "mainstream" features much like galciv2 evolved from galciv1 I'll say too much mainstream and you'll end up with a poor "sims 2" like community, stardock must continue at its own pace, without trying to rush from a quite successful indie galciv2 to a full featured mainstream civilization 4 ... that said, I miss the ingame "civilopedia" the most, I would like galciv3 to get

memtest is a program to test if your memory is alright or not they come in a few different kind of packages -either an executable that will make a bootable floppy or bootable USB key -or a CD Image (ISO) which has to be burnt on CD (after being unzipped of course) and will make a bootable CD in any case you'll end up with a bootable media which you should boot on windows will be bypassed and the specific software of memtest will be launch

yup if you don't solve your issue email support@stardock.com SDC should work fine to update up to 1.96, never had any issue there (this is just to say that SDC should work in theory) my SDC version is : 2.54.524 build:167 (you might want to check you have that) trying it out with impulse seems like a good idea since you'll be able to get v2.0 and the sticky (although it may help someone) is quite old, a

You hit 1G game crashes. This game crashes when memory utilization hits 2GB, but otherwise it's pretty stable.
you can get around this limit, depending on the kind of hardware/software combination https://forums.stardock.com/328255 and for OP, I started my own discussion a while ago about that limit : ht
Well, what I mean is, that, I want to know what you all think is the greatest part about owning a game where the developers ACTUALLY listen to the playerbase and are ACTIVE on the forums, and I'm not talking about a little 100 player online game, I mean a big game, like GalCiv 2. That's all.
it's awesome, but they probably could NOT do that with such a fanbase as "the sims 2" one for example unless moderators were hired for h
I wouldn't call getting new content a open beta. Beta is the testing a game for bugs, glitches, errors and what not. I have called some of the games I have bought open beta but let me assure you it wasn't meant as a compliment. Games that give away free content are pretty unheard of now. So this patch is a big kudos to the dev team here at stardock. I remember waiting for unit and map patches for T.A. back and this

The main one I can think of is the Mind Control Center, available after getting a tech after choosing Evil from Xeno Ethics. In DA it gives a 100% boost to your empire's economy while making it about 3x harder to flip planets via influence. In TA it makes opponent's planets that have the skull & crossbones on them, flip to you the following turn.
O_o didn't

no it's not possible though stardock team is encouraging players to contact support/forums for sorting out their problems with 2.0 2.0 is basically a freebie, sort of a bonus only available to impulse I guess it could be understood as a way to encourage players to move to impulse from SDC, since SDC will be dropped overtime EDIT: arf zoomba got me by 50seconds [e digicons]8C[/e] ...
