What a load of bullshit. I've been going through this for 3 days now trying to get my games I paid for back on my new PC. Here is the Second response after I tried using an older version of Stardock Central to retrieve my games. "It seems that you are running the older version of Stardock Central, you will have to uninstall that as it is no longer supported and download the new Stardock Central from here: https://www.stardock.com/stardockcentral" So I download

For old time sake I reinstalled Cataclysm after playing a few rounds of Sins. They do differ greatly but Sins is still an excellent game in its own right. Like someone said, empire management, more like a space version of civ 4 as compared to starcraft.
How important could it be? I wouldn't even have the balls to ask for my money back let alone for the reason of a new baby and a better job...lol.
Is that for new customers or will the ones who have had it for a while still be able to play it?
Right on..thnx again. Any other tips feel free pls.
Thnx guys. I played as suggested on easy setting and learned a ton. A few questions though. I see your level of research is limited by the number of labs you build. When it. Do all you labs add up to the total , eg if it says it requires 5 labs to learn something will all the labs I have built go towards the 5? Is there a way of quickly looking to see how many labs I have built? I still am somewhat confused with the interface that is on the upper left or the pips I believe they call it. Great g
I supposed I was looking for advice in setting up the economy and so forth.
Is there some form or "guide"in text form that I could read through for the time being?
Hey guys. I have played many RTS's including all the Homeworld series.I just purchased Sins and it looks quite promising. I have to say though that I have been pawing it around for a couple of days on and off, trying the tutorial scenarios and I find it difficult to pick up. I realise it is unique but I find for me anyway that the way in which the tutorial is laid out leaves something to be desired. An example is basic movement tutorial where you are required to destroy all the ships befor bein
Well I was one of the millions of gamers who knew little of Sins. After watching the video I immediately ponied up the 44 bucks and bought it. I own and play Homeworld/ Cat / HW2 and was dreaming of someday a new game like this would come along.
I bought 1.6 Dark Av yesterday and updated fine but it wont install the graphic upgrades height maps. here is the log "-- [Application] ---------------------------------------------------- Name: Stardock Central Path: f:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral Version: 2.45.462, build: 150 -- [System Information] --------------------------------------------- Platform: Microsoft Windows Windows XP, 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Display: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 D
I have the exact same issue with the music going bye bye. I love the background tunes and it bothers me to no end that it is gone.
I have talked to several people regarding the handle limit of XP and they say they are running way more than 25000 without any stability issues.
YOu are not able to cancle ship building que from the quick build list even though you choose nuthing as a build option. If you dont cancle it within the ship yard it will continue to crap out the same ships even though you cancelled it.
I will be be picking it up asap. I wish the demo had a manual with it as I,m lost with it, but it looks sweet.
Hello Frogboy from just north of the border from you in the Soo.
I am not a nerd! I am a steel worker who spits on the floor. I race and ride motorcycles. I have a beautiful wife with whom I have great sex with. I drive a 1992 Dodge Ram 4x4. Yet I love this game and win on normal every time. I love the steep learning curve and the challenges it provides.I was hooked the minute I tried it and it has held my attention longer than most games.
I wish I had the ability to design the ship though while not in a game situation.
Ditto
The game is 44.95 plus 5.00 shipping for the boxed copy.
Just wondering. I live in Ontario Canada and ordered the game 2 weeks ago and still nothing arrived. Where are these games being shipped out of? I saw where a guy in like Sweden had the game within a week. Also, why does it cost more buying direct from Stardock that I could have bought it from Walmart.....38 Canadian vs. 49.95 U.S.?
Me too, they emailed me like 4 different serials with every attempt...lol.
