Aah!!! I nearly soiled myself. Two races for the axe!!?? So, who's for the chop then? Personally the Thalans and Korx are my least favourites. OMG, fingers crossed that they get destroyed. The others are too cool. Ah!!!

I think the users who are here voting on the polls are more likely to be playing GC2 when the packs come out. The users who don't visit the site and take part in the polls are more likely to have found another game to play by then, so I think for the purposes of expansions an online poll isn't too bad. (With new products it would be a different story). So far about 55% of us (give or take) would buy the ship pack, while only 33% would buy a multiplayer-only pack. That gives Sta

Frogboy, if this is in the works already then I am definitely looking forward to it. I would absolutely spend $8.95 on a hull pack, especially if it contains the new race-specific designs you mentioned in one of your articles. $9 is about £4.50, and I have mates who regularly spend more than that on beer every week. It's well worth it in my opinion. It's true that credit cards aren't very popular here, but debit cards are. Anyone who uses a cash machine will have one. That's what I u

Sometimes 'fanboy' is a form of abuse hurled at normal users, when they disagree with a poster who irrationally criticizes the game.

I don't know what kind of business school Frogboy went to but it seems perfectly obvious to me that if the poll trend of 33% extends to the customers that brought the game and they say we want a multiplayer expansion, then you'd be a fool not to release one. Think of it this way, the likelihood of any game getting ANYWHERE near the original sales with an expansion pack is

I understand how the sliders work, and I'm used to them now. However, I don't see why we can't set Military, Social and Research spending independantly. It seems like it would be easier. I don't think the system should change now, because changing the AI would take too much time. Maybe in GC3.

No118 is right. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Selling them seems like a good move, although it can be hard to override that good old human greed. There are many suggestions I could make for 1.3, but I'll keep it as reasonable as possible. These are my top wants in the game. Some of them are simple interface tweaks: 1. Allow us to switch off the feature (?) that carries ship designs over to other games. Many of us enjoy r

In my games, they tend to stick around until the end, although they rarely dominate. The biggest threat from them is their influence, which can swamp me if I'm not careful.

I'm not a computer scientist, My tutorial skips & I can't follow along. The game crashes all the time. I get my butt kick in easy play. i'm pissed & won't play it at all. I feeI I have been ripped off on this game. Being a turn based game, I figured it would be a muti-player game. This game is not worth the money I paid. Finding support is like finding a combination to a l

Can someone tell me how many BC 1 billion people would generate, if the tax rate was set at 100%? I'd like to know so that I can work out the most efficient combination of farms, entertainment and trade centres. Unfortunately I'm at work and I can't check.

I had that happen to me once, but I haven't tried it again since 1.1. It only worked with large hulls for me, but I heard that someone else got it to work with tiny hulls.
