1.5MB/s , speed doesn't seem a problem.

I doubt the float is an absolute "from sea level to highest point" height. Maybe something incremental for the engine to render later. Tiles that are counted as "submerged" are rendered as part of mountain ranges because adjacent squares are tall enough.
Last Value is not only TerrainTypeInfo, it's limited from [0,10], not using the last [11,17] values. I've been looking at "seed-tiny-single-072110" and the first TileData Elements are: TileData > 91,1,0,0.000000,0,6 TileData > <span clas
Not wanting to derail the thread, but does anything pick anything thats not "+gildar bonus" when your towns level up? The other 3 options just aren't appealing enough imo.
Your too close to one of your own cities i belive. Move some spaces away and you should be able to create the city.
Lol at the mounted drake picture! And he has only 610 hp, 3340 att, 7722 def, 42 sight, 51 combat speed. Pft.
I'm able to get several copies of the same building on a settlement. Using 1.01 version, when picking the building spot, if one clicks multiple times, your able to deploy several copies of the same building (you can get several arcane laboratories on the same settlement per example).
Factions AI is currently on the weaklish side, but the wilderness creeps are amazing, even the random bandits with a wolf ground provide a good challenge.
Agreed. Day 0 AI will only be activated in todays patch, so, i think that might be it.
Tom Chick commented the article later: "I never would have guessed that you multiply each bonus instead of adding it, but there you go. Now someone solve for me
Small "X" on the top right corner of the book. Took me a second to find it too.

Can't wait either.
Yep, it works, mipmap to 1 is a workaround for this issue.
Same problem: Game will hang at map creation, no disc activity. Upon alt tabbing we get the "start of game" dialog, a blank map with the sovereign, and at town creation or end of turn the screen starts to flicker and the game freezes. Trully, if one thing we can say for sure, is that everyone has its personal way to play with the oak
You wont need that much of movement speed as penitence already debuffs your oponents speed for quite a bit
MY main concern here with dead ward is mana management. Early mid game i find it hard to have enough mana and mana regen to mainain penitence + shield + dead ward, but with an earlier Vlemish faceguard it can be an option yes. Aborted_Fetus, if you want, pm me your skill and item build and ill add it to the guide.
again, as with every other General based strat that keeps popping up.. none seem to make use of the fact that at the start you can buy, cast and then sell each Idol (including have tier 2 archers) right off the bat, and STILL be able to buy your initial teleport and pots. the general who utilises this is much more effective than the general who does not.
You can do that, but in the end, if in the fu
Added belt of giants, thanks ilikepiez, perfect item for this build alright
Tried it once and never again. As said, the range is so short youll almost be faster walking there.
