Hmm, just had an OOM exception using the new patch 1.2... Interestingly I've never had this issue with 1.1. I've just recently started playing Elemental again so I haven't been using 1.1 rigorously but IIRC this is the first memory issue I have had.

You get a fully grown red dragon that does great damage and looks really cool.
1.b. I'm pretty sure the new resources only spawn in your area of influence. This is really annoying as the main reason for researching this branch is enabling further expansion, so if you are not very lucky on your initial stating position expanding your kingdom becomes a case of Catch-22. I really hope this will be fixed in later update.
I have had this issue as well but you can actually still click the attribute icon, the pointer target is just moved to the upper left corner of the cursor icon. So just aim a little down and to the left and you can assign the desired attribute. Or that works for me at least.

Sorry to break your confidence...but the AI has not improved in the 1.1 quite to the contrary. It has gotten a lot worse... I suppose the impact on the AI depends on the individual playing style as well as the difficulty level. I know, I have had to drop down to 'masochistic' after updating to 1.1

The Omega Research Centre only works on a planetary scale. You can se the 50% to research in the details windows of the planet where it is build. Whether or not it actually works I don't really know. I have always assumed it did work - as you only see the total amount of research done on the planets and not how this number is calculated, it is difficult to say exactly. IIRC in version 1.1 there will be added a feature that allows you to see how the d

I always try to build this wonder because in my opinion it is one of the best for the game strategy i use always.Is Aphrodisiac for you also a must build? I never build it. Sure it's nice to get the taxes up quicker but the investments required for the project are better spend elsewhere in that crit
What is unforunate, though, is that if you haven't built your capital yet, then you lose your captial. Example: I was waiting for a good planet to make my own manufacturing capital. In the meanwhile, I conquered a planet that had a manufacturing capital. As a result, I could no longer build my own. Lesson learned: build my own
Anyone else noticed that? Yes this is a commonly know bug and is currently on the to-do list. Hopefully it will be fixed in the 1.1 update.
