Some people actually expect stuff to be in the game. :) There are people that don't l

Can someone point me to the file(s) that includes the current version of Imbue Champion? I looked in the Life and Death spell files, but the version in those is the old one, plus it is commented out. Can't find it in any other spell file. (I would have put this in the mod section, but I can't get there from here.) EDIT: Never mind. I found it... for Death at least. Still not sure where the Life book is getting it from....
I would be in favour a few city ruins, but not "you can't build a city unless it's on a ruins or else your city sucks". I think it would be more fun if the ruins were haunted, or infested with monsters or something. For that matter, there should be different kinds of territories already controlled by creature factions and denizens of the wastelands. Much like the ZOC for your city, there should be a ZOC around certain monster spa
3. There's been work to tactical battles. The AI is using magic in battles and seems to be somewhat smarter. I wish I had time to take this part of the AI over but Charles is doing a great job here and hopefully people will start noticing.
When will the AI not taking stat upgrades at level-up get addressed? Without taking their stat upgrades at level-up, most magic will be available only to the Sovereign, and the

This problem occurs with AI Heroes as well. That means the AI can only cast higher level spells with the sovereign, and spells that rely on INT will never be very powerful. This really sucks the "magic" right out of the game. I would think this would need to be rather high on the priority list. Guess I'll either shelve it for now or start modding the magic system to allow the AI to use it with some effect...

I had a game going 200+ turns, and thought I would check on how the AI factions were doing. I was happy to see most of the AI Sovereigns were level 6 or so, until I noticed that all their stats were still the same as at the beginning. Their hit-points are increasing, but they don't increase their stats. I can provided a save game if needed.

They're both being worked on of course but those are the things I have a serious pet peeve with.
Really? Really? What about the strategic AI? It seems like factions at war still just wander around, with a sudden attack now and then. In the game I'm currently playing, o

I run the ExpandedFactions mod, and I've never told anyone that a lack in the main game should be compensated by their own mod. At least, not outside the mod forum. I, too, would have prefered a real fantasy setting instead of what's in the game right now. What we got was nowhere near enough to replace the rich background and variety a normal fantasy game provides.
Sorry - I shou
Oh and I definitely agree about Treants. I've always loved the green nature faction in any games I've played. I'd love to see a nature faction with Druids, Dryads, Treants, Unicorns etc. Lots of cool summons like Dire Boars, Faerie Dragons etc. like in AOW II:SM. Looks incredible! I love the rolling feel to the countryside and the well defined areas of swamp and forest. The coastlines look awesome, too. My hope would be that we still have control over how much hill/mountain, forest, swamp, etc. we get on a given map. If you start adding in environments, it would be nice to control the percentage of those as well. So if I want to give the Fallen civs an edge, I could up the Fallen environment. Just a thought.

I improves the starting items that Nym and Ambrose starts with, I just need to find a way to enable him to wear human armor...
True... but if they are going to incorporate it into an official patch, the average user should not be required to mod the items in order to make them balanced. Things like that make a game look sloppy.

If I ever met him perosnally, and the situation warrented it, i would ask him what the hell happened with Civ V. The first thing I would ask is, "How the hell did those rivers ever get in the game."
