if we all look back to when XP was first released, it was messed up too, service pack 2 bought windows XP into the mainstream, vista is the same. every new o/s will have some teething problems. there are so many different system configurations out there that to expect a problem free run is not possible, as more and more people send bug issues into microsoft they will start to build fixes. this is the reason i will not be upgrading to vista until the first service packs

personally i prefer the AMD, i myself have an AMD X2 5600+ but that being said the intel product is extremely capable as well, either way you go, you will be getting great performance, the main issue is price really, so shop around

hiya all, just an update. got another phone call from my doctor this morning. i am booked into hospital next week and my leg is going to be coming off so now i am starting to get nervous. in one way i am glad that after this all the pain and troubles should be over and in another even though i try and keep upbeat i can't help but feel sorry for myself lol. expected stay in hospital is 2 to 3 weeks and after that home with nurse care everyday for another 4 to 6 weeks and trips back

when you uninstalled windowblinds did you remove all traces of it from the registry? try uninstalling it again, running your favourite registry cleaner to remove all traces of the program, delete any folders relating to windowblinds, and then reinstalling the program, hopefully this might work for you, good luck
When I say "free version," I just mean the regular, no-frills version of WindowBlinds. yep and thats a 60 day trial, if you want to continue using it after that, then you are going to have to put your hand in your pocket and pay for the privilidge, only 20 bux mate, take the plunge

ok, for you the logon skins you have to have the program called logon studio, this is freeware, to use the cursor skins, you need cursor xp both can be downloaded from WC, just load up the site and click the appropriate links on the right (or you can click wincustomize store), eg cursor xp for the mouse pointers and logons for logon studio, then click the links to each programs websites, from there u are taken to download them, logon studio is free and so is cursor xp, but cursor xp also has a +
