yep, every theme i try to apply does the same..even going back to the default windows theme using WB results in the same behavior. Uninstalling, rebooting and reapplying the windows 7 default from the personalize section works, but only after uninstalling Windowblinds itself. Oh well. No big deal I'll just stick to standard windows 7. I have WB 11 on my modern laptop and it works perfectly.
well it kinda works. the task bar and start menu change to the windows classic theme while evrything else takes om the WB Theme. any other suggestions? [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
oh ok...i'll try that. Thanks mate [e digicons][/e]
Hi all. I have an old PC that i have set up with Windows 7 64bit in order to play some of my old games as a little piece of nostalgia. I have installed Windowblinds 7.04 on it but there is no way i can see to activate it. i have been an Object Desktop subscriber for years (Since 2006 and still current to this day) and i really want to have use of the software i paid for . I cant install WB 11 or 10 on this PC as its not compatible with Windows 7.
Its fantastic to see a new version of Objectdock, But reading the forums i see a few features that are in v1.9 are no longer in v3. As V 1.9 works flawlessly for me on Windows 11 i will hold off from upgrading as i am sure there are going to be bugs and things to work out as with any new software release. But it is amazing to know that Stardock has not completely abandoned Objectdock.
2005 was the first time i used WB. It was 2006 when i purchased Object Desktop and have been using WB and other software on any computer i get since then.
Here is a Screenshot with Objectdock stopped from loading at Startup. As you can see the issue of the Start Menu remains.
believe it is known that Objectdock is not compatible with Windows 11 and there are lots of reports similar as yours on the Start11 Start Menu panel shifted when running with Objectdock. Please try uninstall Objectdock and see if the issue goes away. Thank you,
The problem only started when I installed Windowblinds 11. Up until that point Start 11 and Objectdock have coexisted quite happily. So I

there is a way to get the old windows 10 taskbar back in windows 11. It does require some tweaking of the windows registry so you do so at your own risk, make sure you set a restore point and back up settings before you do any of this. The bonus of following this guide is that not only do you get the windows 10 taskbar back, you also get the old right click context menus back, Windowblinds will work again (well mostly, i haven't come across any areas where it isn't at the moment). And there i
In that list it says Objectdock is not compatible, But i am running Windows 11 latest insider preview and its working just fine . even with multiple docks, tabs and flyouts. Maybe i got lucky lol. Windowblinds definitely has issues. The biggest issue i found is with explorer windows crashing every time they open. They open and instantly close. I can wait for WB 11 though :)
RIP mate. May the next life bring you every success and happiness [e digicons]

i have watched quite a few You Tube channels regarding the installation of Windows 11 and while Microsoft really really REALLY want you to use a Microsoft account during the install, It's actually not necessary. You can create an offline account and continue without signing in. But as i understand it you do need to sign into a Microsoft account in order to personalise the OS once the install is finished. As these Windows 11 builds are all currently either Dev or Beta/Preview builds i would su
Hi all Everything is going well here in sunny socialist Victoria with our glorious leader proclaiming a easing in restrictions . But on the serious side, we are all healthy, no sign of COVID, both my partner and 92 year old father in law are vaccinated now. as for myself, i just spent a month in hospital due to a strangulated bowel which resulted in a 10 centimetre section of my small bowel being removed resulting in my now need to wear a bag to catch my poo l

it would be great to have RC working on Win 10. i use right click extender at the moment so if there is ever a win 10 version 0f RC some of the options available on RC extender would be great. IE the ability to have access to task manager, msconfig and other windows apps. i cant remember if RC had the option to add shutdown, restart, lock and sleep to it so those would be nice.
plenty of windows 7 skins available. More and more people are adopting Windows 10, but there will always be those who keep a copy of 7 or 8 or even xp on their computer for whatever reason. but just concentrating on skins for Windows 10 would make your life easier in time saved etc.. but ultimately the decision is yours. :)
