i agree wholeheartedly, just because a person doesn't like a particular skin/theme, etc etc, does not give them the right to abuse the artist, yes they may not like it and are quite free to say so, but this can be done without resorting to abuse and degenerate behaviour. ok to get desktopx and rightclick and the other one loaded at startup, go to where those programs are installed and create shortcuts of the .exe files, then place those shortcuts into your startup folder, i dont use vista so i dont know where it is on that o/s but on XP it is in c...documents and settings...owner...start menu...programs...startup, place the shortcuts in there and they will load each time you reboot <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmidd

My needing a new laptop is NOT the issue. As I said in my original post, it took LESS THAN five minutes to boot up. I apologize for not sitting here with a ****ing stopwatch. I figured saying "less than five minutes" was a sufficient statement. Again, as I've stated previously, as soon as I installed WB my boot up time increased by a massive, unacceptable amount. What I need to do is to remove ALL Stardock related software from my machine. What's infuriating is that A)

i may be wrong, but SDCZip.dll may point to stardock central, try downloading that as well and updating iconpackager through there. it might not work but i think it would be worth a try. good luck

even 5 minutes to boot up is unnacceptable in my books, my system runss windowblinds, objectdock, right click, iconpackager plus anti virus and firewalls and still takes less that 2 minutes to go from power on to logon to fully booted, but it is probably something in your system causing these problems because if it was windowblinds dont you think the forums would be full of people with the same problem

it wont be windowblinds sucking up the resources, as far as i know windowblinds uses less resources than the default lune theme does, i could be wrong, but before u go deleteing programs that u dont need to check everything else first, you may find a piece of rogue spyware or a corrupt program causing these issues, another reason could be your graphics adapter, laptops are notorious for having vastly underpowered graphics, check that you have enough video memory as well, good luck <img src="htt

i just registered my stardock products through SDC but realised i didnt have my wincustomize sunscription serial number as well (even though i have already registered this through SDC before) i sent away to get a list of all my rego so i would have them all in one file and noticed that the numbers are totally different than the ones i entered into SDC, does this matter? (more than likely i am just being anal)

bootskin doesn't work with all BIOS, there are a couple of alternate versions on ehte bootskin download page WWW Link try one of those and u may have some luck

you will get all the transparency features if u buy the enhanced version of windowblinds, and believe me it is worth every penny. for 20 bux u cant go wrong, even 50 bux for the whole object desktop is very cheap and u get heaps of programs. take the plunge
