did the reinstall, uninstall, purge thing again and still had the same problem. I'm convinced the Win 10 update broke fences. Especially in light of the fact so many posts in the fences forum recently are about this issue.

To the OP, this problem has been reported in several threads. Don't have a solution but apparently it's not resolved. I have uninstalled fences for now. One thing that I didn't mention in the previous thread is that I think this started with me after a Win 10 update right before or after 3.13 was released.

I uninstalled 3.09, rebooted and reinstalled and still got the explorer message again. Never had this problem until 3.13. No more fences for the time being. Don't feel like fiddling with it.

Where can I get 3.09? I need to go back because I'm constantly getting the windows explorer closed improperly message. Anyhow, I just want 3.09 again. TIA

I agree with much of what has been said. AFA Object Dock, I've already moved on to another app for that. Icon packager I don't use anymore. I love Cursor XP and still use it but that seems like a dead project. Right now, fences, cursor xp and win customize are all I use.

Not sure what to do. Almost everytime I try to update any of my OD components from SD Central I get the following error message: Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets\Calendar\Calendar.png 0 | 0 Cannot create a file when that file already exists. | 08/05/2004 16:57 Result: Installation failed (29) Already turned off the firewall and deactivated my virus scanner. Any help would be appreciated, Dave ---------
