Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce this problem using Macro Express and the Magic Clock. Would you be able to export your Macro Express program configuration and either send that here, or in a private message to me? (Click on my name at the top of this post to access additional functions, including the private message feature). Thanks! -Mike [Stardock Support]

Does the Macro Express app have any kind of exclusion list? This might be a good instance where you can utilize that. I will try and do some testing later today and attempt to reproduce the problem you're describing. If I am able to encounter the problem, I will see if I can get these two working together. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Could you go to Start-> Start Search and type cmd Then type this and press enter: dir C:\windows\system32\*.cpl>C:\output.log The results will then be in a file called output.log at your root C:\ directory, which you could post here or if you prefer, send an email to support@stardock.com . -Mike [Stardock Support]
The GetSpecialFolder method belongs to the FileSystemObject, but seems like it's limited, feature-wise. Sure would be nice if they did include that in the " See Also " section. I agree that it would seem a little appropriate. -Mike [Stardock Support]
You may want to have a look at this: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/9x9e7edx.aspx and this: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/1c87day3.aspx In short, I wouldn't recommend hard-coding anything -- you never know if a particular system's root drive might not be C:\, for example this machine I'm on now is on drive E:.
Glad to hear that did it I will contact the SDC lead developer about this issue you're describing with carriage returns. Which version are you currently running? -Mike [Stardock Support]
To show the files with extensions, you would need to change a setting within Windows. Open any folder, press Alt+T, go to Folder Options , then the View tab. From here, just uncheck where it says Hide extensions for known file types . -Mike [Stardock Support]

Very interesting. What you're experiencing does appear (in some part) to be something Microsoft is acknowledging: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=841571 If you're able to run with that disabled, I'd recommend leaving it that way. Hapkido is correct that it's not very security-friendly. UPNP is not your friend. -Mike [Stardock Support]
