I've aways gotten the damn 'unable to connect to machine' popup when clicking perf meter data source, but for local settings it doesn't seem to matter. but when I input a remote computers host name and pick a meter from it's list, it will show me details letting me know it did connect, like drive letters etc, but when I pick a meter and close/apply it simply will not accept the remote settings, it just default to a local view of whatever meter I was setting up. this has been driving me insa

I get the same "Unable to connect to machine" popup, but only on the second time, the initial setup going to the properties doesn't give it to me, it'll save local configs fine, but whenever I try to setup a meter for a remote machine it just wont save it, it just defaults to local for whatever I tried to setup, be it network or proc etc. if ya have any info on this I'd be very appreciative.
been tryin to figure out if theres a way to make a desktopx taskbar behave with maximized windows etc as a normal taskbar, ie stopping at the bar as opposed to continuing on behind it, the only refference I've found is an old guide a few versions ago mentioning that 'at the moment' there was no way to fix it, aside from changing work area's, but thats just obnocious.
er, scratch the minimize part, guess it was just bein buggy, but I'd still really'd like to know if theres a way for maximized windows to stop at the taskbar
just started in skinning with desktopx so pretty new to it's interface. my first question is, I notced that when click on a tab for a window allready open, it doesn't minimize it as you would expect from the taskbar, now is there a script or setting that can remedy this? also I've been having trouble with taskbar mouseover, was trying to get it so the hover would alter the appearance of the tab, but since it uses one solid pic as the bar it changes the
