So, it wasn't simulating the glass effect under XP at all?

I was once told that I could because it could do the same under XP as well.
How does one get the glass effect under Vista Home Basic while using WB 5.5?
At least we didn't waste as much money on this piece of crap as those who bought the higher editions. I'm seriously considering upgrading back to XP. I've had to reinstall 3 times this week because it didn't like a program that was suppose to be Vista "compatible" and system restore and repair don't work all that well either in this. Waiting until SP1 comes out is sounding better and better. Vista is far worse than Windows ME ever was. 5 years and $6 billion and it is still just a beta
Why would anyone want it to "blur" in the first place? If they can simulate the glass effect certainly that can do this as well?
Will the new WB allow for one to have Aero-like Glass effects under Vista HomeBasic like it did for XP?
