Hmm. Works fine on my FX5200 Ultra. However: Checkboxes. The text next to all the checkboxes in the User Overrides part of WindowBlinds 5 Settings is black, on a black background. (Using the "5imple Alpha" skin.) I haven't checked other apps for that problem yet.

I only ever use leetspeak in an ironic/sarcastic way, because it's so funny, particularly when there's someone who doesn't know what it means on a game server or something. For example: Noob: "Your cheating!!!11!1" Me : "OMG TEH H4X!!!" Oh, and that is a real-life example. ¬_¬

Ubuntu is great, with the added bonus that they send you CDs for free with free shipping to anywhere in the world check out http://shipit.ubuntulinux.org/. Personally I use a combination of Ubuntu and Topologi (www.topologilinux.com).

Creative's stuff is cheaper, and has had fewer complaints about long-term stability than the iPod (dodgy batteries anyone?). IMO the iPod is way too expensive for what it is; I'd go with the Zen Micro. (As it is I have a Zen Touch because I have more stuff to keep on it.)
